I wonder if IS worked on anything else while K-T did most of the heavy lifting for Three Houses. (Perhaps the DLC? )

@JaxonH There are plenty of options for Great knight.
If you don't mind bringing over students from other houses: Hilda is a great pick, lance and axe are her strong skills and armor is a budding talent. Raphael has axe and armor as his strong skills. But in the end you can make nearly anyone work as long as they have high strength instead of magic. You could argue about the usefulness of resistance though.
...It's too bad that you can't bring over Dedue, he would be a great physical tank. Before I played the game I didn't know there were non recruitable students beside the lords. Sigh... I made plans around him...
Gilbert and Alois are likely the best non student picks for Great Knight. But It's too early to tell. I haven't progressed that far and the FE wiki doesn't provide all the information yet.
Treehouse hasn't been an issue since the start of the Switch generation. Those days of censoring and bad localizations are long gone.

I'm loving it so far and I've put in about 31 hours or so already. The amount of control that you get over your characters is phenomenal. I do think reading a guide or two before beginning to play would be helpful as I know I could have managed some of the early game a little bit better.
I'm just now started on a big game changing decision in the game and really excited to see how it plans out. I went with my gut on the choice and I can't wait to see how it unfolds.
@DenDen
I think it's really great. Calling it the "best" is always tricky. In my opinion, it's my favorite Fire Emblem game, but people will always disagree. Some really won't like the insane amount of socializing you can do amongst the characters, but as far as I can tell, you can pretty much skip that stuff or at least streamline it.
The most important part, the combat, is excellent. It's still strategic and has quite a few systems working at once without becoming akin to piloting a space shuttle. Even some of the story battle maps have cool little gimmicks and surprises, moreso than I remember from other recent FE titles.
Although my pace will have to slow down soon, I think.
I'm trying to do the support convos anytime they're available, because I let them go for one month and then I had, like, 45 minutes worth of conversations to watch, which got a bit... much.
All of my people are EXACTLY level 10 now, although I didn't plan ahead and ran short of intermediate seals, so not everyone can upgrade at the moment.
@JaxonH Good to hear. I checked the credits and it has a good chunk of the same localization staff from Fates so I was curious. I guess the ones missing cough "Nich Maragos" cough were the bad apples.
I got a cuestion guys. I'm playing a mission and this ally unit (a green one) allways put himself in danger. I'm playing on classic so i dont want him to die. Any advices?
@Venus_Adept Chapter 5 story mission with the old guy? I was able to keep him alive thanks to my healers and some luck in the last part of the battle. Don't leave him all alone at the beginning and once you are against the boss, try to make him unable to attack the boss my moving in front of him. If you are unable to do that, you may want to make sure the enemy's health is low enough for the ally to get it down to 0 so the boss doesn't have a chance to counter attack.
But with that said, my friend said that he wasn't able to keep him alive but the guy simply retreated and the game continues like nothing happened. I'm actually really curious myself how the game handles the units you can borrow for a month. Do they stay dead if they die on the battlefield? Would be fun to see a house leader not lend any units because you got one of their people killed. I doubt that's the case though.
@Late Yes is that part. The guy is driving me crazy, he think he is a superhero or something like that lol. I was recently told that he can be defeated as you say and everything goes normal after that (dont die), but im going to beat the mission with him in the battlefield even against his suicide nature 😁. Thanks for the tips.
The key is to jump ahead of him when reinforcements arrive from the starting point. If he's in the rear he'll go back to fight them. Send one other person to help him and use the opportunity to stay one step ahead of him from that point forward. Just make sure he's healed up as he approaches the boss (he still got there first in my game... barely). Use a physic or something.
