@Anti-Matter They did show a little bit of the terraforming/decorating. It does look a lot like Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It seemed like they were able to do it really quickly, though. You can lay out ponds/rivers, paths, buildings, etc. They had a second tier where they placed a big house?

They showed the other new Life but didn't give a release date. America Zarigani, a Japanese comedy duo, were the MCs. They tried out Cooking, Battling, and Fishing. Keiji Inafune, the producer, was the other person. The new Life looks fun, guess they added it for the decorating? The game looks great, but I just want to know the release date!

I'm jonesing for this game so bad that I'm willing to watch a non-localized presentation from back at TGS. I completely forgot that Keiji Inafune is the lead producer on this game. He went dark after the Might No. 9 debacle; he over-promised and underdelivered. But the man has had more hits than misses in his career.

I'd like to believe Fantasy Life i will be a comeback of sorts for him.

Does that mean a video going private is coming out soon???? Did a famous creator quit Level-5 to create his own Gaming building business????

Bummer, but hey...I can wait.

I’m also sad about the delay but mildly hyped. I keep thinking Level 5 is gonna deliver something great. Their last few games haven’t been bad so I still trust them.

The Level 5 event that's happening right now just revealed the new release window of Fantasy Life i to be Summer 2024.

@Grumblevolcano A nine month delay? Dang. Feels like a long time to wait, but I think it'll be worth it. The game is still at the top of my most anticipated 2024 games list.

Still pretty far away and it won't surprise me to see it get pushed back further again so hopefully by the end of next year if we're lucky. Not going to bother giving the game too much attention till we have a solid date for it.

As long as it gets released then the wait is worth it. Wonder why we can't at least get a demo?

A demo 8 months before the game comes out would be very early; they may still be fixing fundamental problems. I would love a demo for this game eventually though.

@FishyS - For a Demo, I would like to give it try and players could give feedback gameplay if there is bugs or stuff that would help them more.

Murican release date is now October 10th.

Ya know, I can't help but wonder if some of these games were planned to dual release on Switch and as a Switch 2 launch title, hence no info on release thus far.

Then as soon as word broke Nintendo is pushing Switch 2 launch back to Q1 2025, suddenly these games get a release date, like Fantasy Life dropping in October, as if they said OK screw it, we'll just drop the Switch version for now and the Switch 2 can get a launch window port next year.

(I'm just exercising my mind with some conjecture, by no means do I believe this to be the case, merely a... possibility)

Also, this year is 10th anniversary of Fantasy Life 3DS.

Only a couple months away, still no sign of a physical release for Murica.

Suppose I'll have to settle for a Japanese copy.
