I'm just playing Banjo-Kazooie for the first time on Xbox One with Rare Replay. Safe to say that halfway through Rusty Bucket Bay I understand why this series and these guys who made it are so revered. Very much looking forward to Yooka-Laylee, of course I'm gonna finish off Banjo-Kazooie then move speedily onto Tooie.
Banjo games are like one of the few platformers I really enjoy 100%ing, because the noises everything makes when you succeed, and the characters and themed worlds. Of course the humor. I really am excited, I hope this game can produce similar. I have faith. But as for Yooka-Laylee's release, I really hope we hear some more news soon. It's been a while up until this music thing. Are they still shooting for 2016 release? Or was it 2017?
This might even be my most anticipated game of 2016. Even more so then Zelda of which we know nothing about. This game is long overdue. Feels like banjo 3 tbh.

Why did you say first 2 then. There was only 2 on the 64. You make it sound like you played the 3rd game or are you referring to Nuts and Bolts?
Like I said I never knew about the GBA game, but yeah I never played any of them...I just said it like that because no one cares about Nuts and Bolts anyway. lol

I think the mine carts stages in this game might be similar to the three in Donkey Kong 64, which were pretty fun. You have to collect gold nuggets while riding, which is similar to how you had to collect DK coins while riding Donkey Kong 64.
Ehh. Those weren't very fun, I wouldn't like to see them again.
Seems more and more of the old team is getting back together. I really hope this spells great things to come from them! I would love to see them pump out quality games like they did back in the n64 era.

First time I've seen what appears to be the Playtonic logo. I like that it has the same gold border/blue background shape that the old Rare logo had. Nice touch, guys.

I'm excited to see what they will do with creating their 'Playtonic Universe' like they have mentioned, and introducing characters that may have a starring role later. I'd love to see a Diddy Kong Racing type game again.
