...Well thanks to Splatoon I can't support the game. :c
Then again I'm buying it anyways whenever it launches, so...whatever.

....It's just in Alpha right now, and it already looks and sounds near complete. xp

kinda chugs a little at night, from what I can tell. Still good work thus far, I must say.

It's great to see what a bunch of lighting effects and more assets can do. It looks even better than before.

Considering this is well over a year away it looks great this far. This is like a big Nintendo released game for me. Can't wait to experience Banjo threeee

I have to say that not a single big game revealed at this E3 excites me as much as Yooka-Laylee. That footage, man. Holiday 2016 can't come soon enough.

I take it everyone got their backers email about the special thanks info. So how long do people think the special thanks page will run for with 70k+ names to get through or if they will try to do something more intresting with them like having the names hidden within the game itself for example?

I would be so bummed if they had to lock the frame rate at 30fps for the Wii U.

I'm sort of wishing I picked a different backer bundle. I really wanted that darn t-shirt for some reason but just didn't have the funds to go up to the physical bundle (Physical book, soundtrack and I think something else) so I'm getting the artbook and soundtrack digital sadly. The bad thing is, I don't even have a computer to put the book on....I feel like it's something I can probably look up on the internet anyway is the thing. I wish I could go back and just spend the extra I think at this point.

I read the update. Glad to hear the game is coming along well. Just a few points for those unwilling to read.

• Playtonic has upgraded their office and gone into that familiar underground mode that Nintendo-related companies so often swear by.
• We'll see some art and the occasional gif, but we're not likely to see any major details on the game or video footage for quite some time. (E3?)
• New skeleton girl NPC that will likely send you on some kind of fetch quests.
• Playtonic went to EGX mildly drunk and theres a video of that panel here: https://youtu.be/yTsZQNrFMs8
• Artistically going for a strong sense of familiarity while still attempting to bring something to the table you haven't necessarily seem already.
• Team still making a late 2016 release prediction.
• Gav being stalked by crazy sausage roll worker.
  Hub World and likely all levels will have area/level-specific variations of some themes.
• Grant Kirkhope chained to a chair and won't be free until the above condition is met.

During their panel they actually mentioned October 2016. Might be a placeholder date, who knows, but that's what they're probably aiming for right now.

@Octane: pretty sure that's official, but shenanigans happen. I suspect this game is completely under control, but I just said late 2016 to be safe, anyways.

The kickstarter also said October months ago but it's far too early to say it's on schedule. We still have over a year left and from what I can tell these luck starters never release on the original date expected.

I love Rextro Sixtyfourus, it's an awesome tribute to an era! This game is going to be a fan favourite and hopefully we'll get plenty of content from Rare-Playtonic.

Grant has some wonderful tunes like the one inside Gruntilda lair in Banjo-Kazooie, but most of its tunes are saturated and repetitive. :S David Wise is a genius, so any normal composer like Grant Kirkhope or Eveline Fischer is going to be overshadowed.

As much as I can't wait for Xenoblade, Starfox and Zelda, October can't come soon enough! Banjo Kazooie was my everything!!
