It's already reached 4 stretch goals. It's gonna start hitting those multiplayer ones easily. I wonder how many people realize the Kickstarter isn't necessary to finish the game, it's more just to make it a grander experience.

Huh? It just now hit a quarter million. The first stretch goal is at £275,000.

No, the first stretch goal was past like 30 Mins ago and it was like £175,000. It's working on the 2nd and it's almost there.

What? Is my page really behind? On my end, it hit a quarter million a few minutes ago, and the first stretch goal (beyond initial funding of £175,000) is at £275,000. How does it look on your end?
EDIT: and the post I quoted was edited, and I believe that clears up the confusion?

Yeah I miss typed above. The first goal was to make the game for all systems. It just past 400k US though. That's almost £250,000 now. Almost at the second goal.
I think retro was looking at the US translated page and got messed up. I keep hitting the link and getting either one or the other total.
Ah, there we go. See, I don't consider the first goal a stretch goal. But I guess since it's in the list of stretch goals it could be considered as one.
Regardless, we're just a touch away from the unique boss fights stretch goal.

KickStarter doesn't accept PayPal? Too bad, I'll have to wait a few days with backing this project then, don't have my MasterCard at hand at the moment.
It's about to pass the Quiz Show level stretch goal. At this rate it'll hit them all in due time.

Am I the only one who thinks nintendo should buy Playtonic before microsoft gets there grubby hands on them and ruins them?
I highly doubt they will sell themselves to Microsoft a second time.

They updated talking about the campaign funding at a blistering pace. Here's what Playtonic had to say:
"Bleeding Norah, the Yooka-Laylee Kickstarter was only live for 40 minutes before you went and funded it!
The Playtonic team would like to sincerely thank you for your incredible support. From day one your response to our studio has amazed us – and now we can give you a bigger game, on your games platform of choice.
But it’s not over yet: Crowdfunding will help us increase the scope of Yooka-Laylee, and if we do even better we'll be able to deliver some real dream features like a fully orchestrated soundtrack and simultaneous, physical release on all platforms.
Thanks again for backing - let's resurrect the buddy-duo platformer!"
