Not a great score, but my first try

Ugh, I'm back to struggling again and couldn't pass 550,000.

@Rogueleader76 Good to see you back. Did you ever submit a score for DANMAKU and MOON PATROL? Don't recall @oorwullie including you on the Leaderboards?

I set a score in the 400,000s with MIko on my second try with her, on about my sixth or seventh try overall. I was feeling pretty good about myself, and felt sure I was going to crack this. Since then, I have played easily another couple of hours or so and beaten that score precisely ONCE. I've now got about 450,000 or so.

I'm having a blast, though. I'm determined to at least break 500,000 - though ideally I'd like the extend at 600,000.

I tried SO hard not to use Miko, but in the end those two extra bombs are too good to pass.

I finally broke 500k with Boobs, I mean MIKO.

Will have some more runs as and when prior to Friday deadline but I can't see myself improving my score by any significant margin.

Yeah, I improved my score by a little margin. Friday I’ll have more time to give it one last go. Fun game! Just weird a certain someone want to use my bust as decoration? Can’t say I blame him though. Oof.

Finally improved just a little, 840 402 now. That final boss third form got me again. I'm getting between 700k-800k occasionally, but scoring over that is hard. Not sure how much score the last boss is worth, but I would think it would be good jump if I would beat it. If you do too well in the early stages, the game just makes it more though for you later on. One of the hardest things in the game I think is that it's hard to evaluate how durable enemies are, how fast they shoot after the come up, how fast are they bullets etc. because it keeps shifting all the time because of the randomised stages + how well are you doing at that moment.

Has a preferred level order been established? I just keep allowing the game to choose for me. But will certainly try a set order if recommended?

Okay, there went the last boss, 881 102 (wasn't great run otherwise). I'm happy, at least I managed to pass the first loop. It took about few seconds (with two lives) of second loop before it was game over... I barely managed to shoot bomb once. That second loop is just way too hardcore for me.

I don't think I have preferred order, shrine I think is easiest so I like that to be 2nd or 3rd (it's annoying to start with). I think each time I passed the 800k I had different order so I don't think it matter that much at this point when it's more surviving that trying to score maximum in each given level.

@GFoyle Congrats buddy on such an impressive score. Cheers for the feedback on level select. I'll stick with random order and just try (pray) harder, lol!

Nice score! I’m not sure I’ll be able to surpass that but I’ll give it a go. I take the stages randomly but some are clearly easier than others. Very addictive gameplay though!

298 points short of 500,so close. I managed to make the 4th stage on 1 continue for the first time. It was also the first time I've reached that hand on the 5th stage and it messed me up big time.
