You have to keep in mind that Partner Directs are more about contractually obligated strategic marketing rather than being a platform for awesome "new" announcements. From the big publishers we'll get reminders that NBA 2k26, Final Fantasy Tactics remastered, Sonic Racing Crossworlds, Trails in the Sky 1st, and Little Nightmares III are coming soon. Aside from that, there'll be mostly games about farming, visual novels, and metroidvanias because that's what's coming between now and October.
Simply reference the release schedule, that's probably most of what we'll see tomorrow.
Was kind of hoping for a regular Nintendo Direct... maybe next time. Hopefully we'll still see some good stuff in it. I do want to see Hi-Fi Rush get announced.

Favorite games: Super Mario 3D World, Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Playing: Hollow Knight
Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I'd like to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
It's somewhat short but theres some potential series I'd like to see. Ace Attorney 7, new Monster Hunter Spin-Off (stories 2 came out like 4 years ago), etc. I'm sure we'll see Elden Ring, maybe that Duskbloods game they showed at the Switch 2 presentation.
Wouldn't mind seeing other games like Expedition 33 or Lies of P getting ported over
So far so good, next is that early-mid August Prime 4 Direct
Anyways, some predictions:
Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment
Plants vs Zombies Replanted
SpongeBob: Titans of the Tide
Yomawari
Elden Ring
FFVII Remake
Hades II
Professor Layton and the New World of Steam
Dragon Ball Sparking Zero
Persona 3 Reload
Assassin's Creed Shadows
Something from Xbox (Sea of Thieves?)
Just Dance 2026
Death Stranding Directors Cut
I'm gonna say it's gonna be an okay showcase, with not as many heavy hitters for Switch 2 as people would like, especially since a lot of those are either already known or on Switch 1 as well.
Persona 3: Reload (Better still, confirmation of Persona 4 Revival andmaybe a nice lil perfomance update for P5R pls🙏)
Hi-Fi Rush - I actually don't know a lot about this game but from the little of it I've seen of it, I just know I'd enjoy it. Also seems like it would fit right at home on a Nintendo system. On the fence as to whether it'll actually show up though.
Kirby Air Riders - This will probably end up being the 3rd first party Switch 2 game I'll pick up and with Sakurai at the helm, I'm sure it'll be fantastic hence why I'm eager to learn more!
my wishes for tomorrow:
-hyrule warriors:age of imprisionment
-a release date for elden ring and the duskbloods
-death stranding:directors cut
-silksong to satisfy the fans
-something chrono trigger to celebrate the anniversary!
-a look at the haunted chocolateir (im dreaming now)
-third party apps such as spotify and discord on switch 2! @Grumblevolcano ASTRO BOT?!! and rdr2? i mean i i hope youre correct 😝😝 sony has been delivering their games to other consoles recently! @IceClimbers these predictions are some of the most realistic (in my opinion) that ive seen. i hope they decide to show hyrule warriors 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

.....But in all seriousness, I'm not sure about it showing up, between the fact that Level-5 does their own showcases and that Inzuma Eleven got delayed. And if Inzuma got delayed.... well, I think you get where I'm going with this.

What are people's predictions for the Nintendo financial meeting this week?.
This may be out there, but I’m thinking a general Nintendo Direct could be announced there. 3rd party games have been selling extremely underwhelming on Switch 2, there’s no way they’re can go into the meeting with only 3rd parties and Drag X Drive to show, right? I’m pretty sure Nintendo said in the May meeting last year there would be a Direct in June. Maybe we’ll get something similar saying we’ll get a Direct this upcoming week?
I think Hyrule Warriors is our indicator if we’re getting a Direct before September:
If it gets a release date here, a Direct before September would feel very unlikely
If it gets shown without a release date, a Direct soon would feel more likely but not guaranteed
If Hyrule Warriors isn’t here at all, a general Direct soon would have a significantly higher chance of happening
Alright prediction time! I'm also gonna ignore the practically confirmed stuff like rdr2, COD, etc because those aren't really predictions cause they're like 99% confirmed already. Here we go
-The big Xbox port is Forza horizon 5. It makes sense cause it'll sell the best.
-Capcom announces RE9 coming day in date with the other platforms.
-Age of imprisonment gets an early December release date.
-Kirby Air Riders counts for the direct, and releases in September. (Which would likely lead to prime 4 being the November title, but obviously not shown here)
-MIO gets a release date
-Duskbloods is NOT shown. Fromsoft focuses on Elden Ring for now.
-Hollow knight silksong is shown in a sizzle real again and it is very funny.
-And finally, everybody is mad because the coolest announcement is game key card only and it is very funny. Overall I predict the show will be funny.
-The big Xbox port is Forza horizon 5. It makes sense cause it'll sell the best.
I could actually agree with this too, except what might hold something like this back is the Switch 2 not having analog triggers.
As for when I think the next Direct will happen, I’m guessing we’ll get a Mario 40th anniversary Direct in September and then a general Direct in October.
I won't be able to watch the Direct live today. Going to a local zoo with my mom.
But here are 10 of my predictions / wishes:
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment will be the big focus (IP is Nintendo, but it's being developed by a third party).
Port of a Final Fantasy game that wasn't on OG Switch (XIII, XIV, XV, XVI or VII Remake). My money's on VII Remake.
Metaphor: ReFantazio gets an enhanced port (with content exclusive to Switch 2).
Baldur's Gate 3 and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 will be no-shows even though I really want them on Switch 2 (development kits haven't reached every studio yet).
Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection
Brand new "Tales of" game announcement (it's been way too long since Tales of Arise).
First teaser for a new Sonic platformer.
An old PlayStation exclusive gets ported (I'm thinking Gravity Rush or LocoRoco).
Xbox shows up with Forza and Rare Replay but no Halo.
Hollow Knight: Silksong shadow drop.
Favorite game: Fire Emblem Engage
Favorite series: Xenoblade Chronicles
Favorite time-wasters: Nintendo Musou
