@Gorlock
Oh man, Switch is one of the only platforms I can play Metro and Crysis. Specifically because of the controls. I can't do that ancient analog stick-only aiming anymore. Those games have fantastic gyro aiming implemented. I crush when playing those games on Switch.
Psalms 22:16 (1,000 yrs before Christ)
They pierced My hands and feet
Isaiah 53:5 (700 yrs before Christ)
He was pierced for our transgressions
So would we say that if i went for the switch 2 version instead of PS5 I'm not really missing out? I mean i know going in that it's just not gonna look as pretty but at least the full experience is there. I just feel like they deserve my money if they made the effort to get it all on the cart. Even if the framerate and graphics aren't the absolute best.
Yeah you can definitely tell where it had to make sacrifices, but my god. Thats... in my hands. Looks better than steam deck version can get I'll tell you that.

Depending on what you want. You will get better framerate on ps5. Visuals will be comparable but only one you can take on the go.

Was always going to be the case. Hopefully it sells well. I have it preordered.
@Bigmanfan Yep, considering it's upscaled from 1080P, it's looking really clean and gives me a lot of hope for other big third party titles on Switch 2 going forward.
@Truegamer79 I'd probably wait for reviews if you still have concerns but one thing I can say is that CD Project Red are pulling out all the stops to make this as good a port as possible, that will perform much better than on Steam deck and PS4. Whether that's good enough for your tastes, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
I think not only that, by CDPR also is one of the few developers putting their entire game on a physical cartridge. I genuinely hope gamers reward them for that, so companies can see the thirst is real for physical still
I played through Cyberpunk on my ps5 and a capable PC. Yes, you can see where the sacrifices are, but it has a quality mode (30fps) and a performance mode (40fps target or summing iirc for switch 2) and almost all the effects are there, just often in a more subtle fashion and sans RT. According to CDPR, the game is feature complete with the other versions and includes the DLC for free as part of the package. That's a lot of content.
If you have a ps5 or PC of course I'd still play it there, but if portability matters this will be the best version that exists not counting Rog Ally elite edition and the inevitable re-release on the as yet unrevealed ps6 portable and Xbox next portable.
I can't get enough news about this game. Check this out - new footage (from a decent Youtuber who doesn't talk all that hype nonsense like they think they are in the industry lol.)
I never drive faster than I can see. Besides, it's all in the reflexes.
With the full 40 minute I did catch some framerate hitching occasionally, but honestly this is genuinely impressive. I know the game exists on PS4 but just... compare the results. That one looks so rough next to this one now. Switch 2's 3x stronger than ps4 cpu putting in that work mein gott
@Quantumz00 preordered and will be day 1. Have to support devs like this. With that being said I’m not sure if i will like the game but hopefully I will.
Ah no! I didn't realize this game was as gory as it is. This whole time I've thought cyberpunk 2077 looks so cool, but I noticed it's rated M 17+ for "blood and gore, intense violence", and then I watched a youtube. I guess I'm glad I didn't blow my money.
Oh yes, no less gory than The Witcher III. And just as much sexuality. Some of the storefronts in Cyberpunk 2077 will make repressed folk blush. Wall to wall BBC.
Switch Physical Collection - 1,537 games (as of December 22nd, 2025)
Switch 2 Physical Collection - 4 games (as of December 8th, 2025)
Well, that is all quite disappointing. People on this thread had talked me into this game, but after reading the past couple of posts I looked it up, and yeah. This game seems to have far too much blood, gore, and sex for me to want to play it. Oh, well. One less game I have to worry about.
@Truegamer79 I have the game on PS5 and XBOX series X (as I bought it first on One X way back) and this game will never look anything near the graphic fidelity on the Switch 2.
Its just not possible, as even in docked mode, both PS5 and Series X are still more than 3 times as powerful.
But with cross-save, I might still get it on the Switch 2..... just to have my CP2077 fix on the go.
@Xyphon22 There is barely any sex in this game. It's all based on your own choice if you want to engage romantically with any of the characters (or pay for a hooker), like any other RPG out there that offers romance options.
I'm curious how the driving will be on Switch 2 without analogue triggers. Guess you could use the right stick for accelerate/brake but that means you lose the camera control.
How cars handle is the worst aspect of the game so yeah, curious.
Currently on my second playthrough on the Steam Deck but I'd definitely buy again if I had a new Switch, I'm not sure the Deck can handle Phantom Liberty, especially as I'd be running it from an SD card.
