1. Mario and Luigi: Dream Team - Neo Bowser Castle - While the Mario Galaxy track has a very grand feeling, I prefer the darker tones to this track.
2. Kingdom Hearts - Hollow Bastion
Library of Puppets is a catchier tune, but this feels much more foreboding.
3. Super Mario Galaxy 2 - Bowser's Lava Lair - I'm not a huge fan of either of these tracks, but I don't think the Mega Man one should have gotten this far.
4. Mega Man X - Sigma Stage 1 - I actually prefer Lorule Castle as a song, but once again, this just fits the category better.

3) Mega Man 2 - Wily Castle 1 (One of the best pieces of 8-bit music out there. Plus, we have enough SMG victors already).

Aww, man! It really is too bad I missed the last round completely. I know at least two matches would've become ties, had I been there, and either Yoshi, Bravely Default, or both might still be in this thing. That said, while they were easily my favorites to win, they lost to other extremely good entries, so unlike the last tournament, I am not really complaining.

I promise I haven't disappeared again, it's just been a crazy week for me. As we near the end of this tournament, I'd like to ask everyone's opinion of whether or not we should use the Losing Bracket. The whole tournament was set up as a double elimination, so after finishing these last two rounds, we could start the losing bracket.

2) Mega Man 2 - Wily Stage 1 (Lorule castle is pretty good, and this was a close one)
I'll be voting no for doing the losing bracket. With this big of a tournament it would take a long time, and since there's no ranking in the end (only first place gets noted) it seems like it'd be quite a big waste of time. I'm just anxious to get onto the next tournament, but we'll see what people say.

It's been a long tournament, but I'm definitely going all in for Lorule Castle, here. Amazing how Hyrule Castle Theme is such a good theme that in reverse, it makes the perfect enemy base theme.
It's dark and intimidating, just like a antagonists lair should sound like, while somehow managing to be adventurous and uplifting at the same time. I've known from the very beginning that this song deserves to win. My vote goes to:

About the next theme: I've been thinking, due to the dwindling amount of voters, that maybe we should wrap this up with one last overall greatest video game music. Though there's been a sudden surge of life recently so maybe that should be postponed.
Okay, ideas for the next tournament... maybe greatest final boss theme? Or best level background music?

As for the next tournament, I've been thinking about a couple of options.
More themed ones, like the Winter Theme. Maybe a Forest/Woods or Desert one?.
Possibly more open ended stuff, like Sad/Tense themes, where judging would be more based on how much the song fits the category.
Not too many good ideas though, we'll see what other people come up with.
And some backup options which aren't great:
Best Credits Theme (Kind of useless though seeing as the SMG Credits theme won the initial tournament)
Best Final Boss Theme (Doesn't make much sense, too similar to the Boss Theme tournament)
