@ThanosReXXX Good God I agree. Haven’t had a break that long but time doesn’t slow for anyone.
Higgs Monaghan... the villain of Death Stranding. Goes under the pseudonym Peter Englert, the combination of the names the two founders of the Higgs boson, Peter Higgs and François Englert. He labels himself the particle of God too.
@ThanosReXXX The thing that drives me the most nuts of all, are the people who haven't liked the series for 3 or 4 generations at this point. Almost 10 years have gone by. And these people still show up on the videos and articles to list off all these things they dislike about the series.
It would be the same as if I were going on every Call of Duty article to talk about how I haven't liked that series since Modern Warefare 2. Which was released like 10-ish years ago. Just because I played the series to death prior to that, doesn't just give me the right to go and spit in the cereal for all the people who like the newer entries.
Like what's so hard about moving on from a series you no longer like and only going back to the entries you enjoy? I've done that with several series, Star Wars, I don't like the new canon at all, but I still enjoy the old stuff, Halo I liked through Reach but didn't care for 4, COD, I liked 2 through MW2 and not much past that, just for a few examples. When the series changed, I moved on and focused on other things I enjoy.
There's countless games, anime, movies, music, books, etc etc out there. But some people just cling to a series and bash on it relentlessly - all while calling themselves fans. Pokemon is especially bad for this, but it's not alone. Why spend out limited time in life fixated on something we don't like anymore?
And no, I don't believe throwing internet tantrums will ever meaningfully change a series. I know there are a couple cases people point to, but they are in the extreme minority.

I can't wait to play apex legends on switch, but there is one issue. there is no cross progression, On ps4 I have 3 characters I got for free by just playing I also have skins and stuff, I don't want to start over, so I'm I think i'm just going to see how it runs on switch or I may jump into a game from time to time, There is also going to be a XP weekend so I might try to get my characters back around that time.
I know this is a pretty random comment but Just was thinking about it, been playing lots of apex legends over the past two months daily.
Nintendo are like woman, You love them for whats on the inside, not the outside…you know what I mean! Luzlane best girl!

Meanwhile, i'm in the mood to play Beatmania IIDX and Pop'n Music games on PS2. But i still haven't bought the games and the controller yet. Next month i will try to get them. As i saw the latest Beatmania IIDX on Arcade (IIDX 28 Bistrover), it motivated me to start to build my Arcade at home games from PS2 games as the cheapest option as possible especially during pandemic, i cannot go to Arcade to play arcade games.
I am the odd one here, talking about completely different games that only me have interest about, other peoples have no idea what are those games.
@Anti-Matter I've definitely considered buying a version of the game from a different region. However, EU/PAL regions also had a limited release from what I've read, and I'd have to study Japanese before buying one of the versions of Yo-kai Watch 3 Japan received lol. I could stumble around and try to figure everything out, but with games with a plot, I like knowing what's going on. Besides, with region locking I'd have to buy a Japanese 3DS. Not sure I'm willing to do that for just one or two games.
Yo-kai attack, heal, defend, and inspirit enemy Yo-kai on their own in battle, but you can change their nature with books so that they're more likely to perform certain actions. You can control when they use their Soultimate attacks though; this is like a special attack that they can use when their energy (usually represented by a glowing blue soul or teardrop-shaped icon) is full. I don't know how this works in Yo-kai Watch 3, but in the previous games the meter starts out full and then, once you use a Soultimate attacks, is replenished again as the Yo-kai perform actions.
@MarioLover92 I know even the trade-in value for those games is high at places like GameStop; I've looked out of curiosity, but there's no way I'm trading off my copy of SoulSilver anytime soon. XD
@Blooper987 Congrats! Hopefully your management is decent, and your fellow coworkers are awesome!
There's a Culver's near here, and overall it's decent. Though they do have a higher rate of order hose-ups than some other chains here lol. I LOVE their ice cream!
@Heavyarms55 Your last post reminded me of this lovely nugget from Super Paper Mario:

What job did you apply ?
I think you should check your email now.

During pandemic, not many users here talk a lot. I felt bored too, i got weight gain during pandemic (Gosh... I am 77 kg now, last year i was 70 kg). I used to be skinny 5 years ago, 55 kg with height 180 cm.
Back to games topic, as i keep my eyes on upcoming games, i decided to dig more old games library that i have never played before as i missed a lot when i already 36 years old. From All old games in my radar, PS2 and PS1 are my gold mines as i am a huge fan of Konami's Rhythm games so i want to get all of them (except for some mixes on PS1 that have very few songs and not so great to listen songs).
It's weird. Very few users here have interest with Rhythm games. While some of them have ever played but not really dedicated, i played a lot for DDR as my number 1 Rhythm game of all, with more than 17 experiences. And i still don't understand to see the other side of faraway places, let's say Japan and other Asia countries, the hype of Rhythm games are really high even during pandemic. There are a lot of Expert players that way much better than me, their performances are really made me jaw drop.
But here, i felt the opposite. I always felt lonely to discuss my niche games. I know this is UK website but are peoples here really not have same hype as Asian peoples when talking about niche games ?
@Tyranexx
For Japanese Yokai Watch games, i think you should watch AbdallahSmash channel for walkthrough with English translation by verbal. He understand Japanese so i need his walkthrough for Japanese only Yokai Watch games such as Sangokushi (strategy style) and Yokai Watch Buster 2 (sequel of Blaster with similar gameplay).
Oh, today is 4th Anniversary of Nintendo Switch soft launching day. (3 March 2021)
I have prepared my drawing to celebrate the moment, just wait until the timing is right.
@Snatcher I feel you there, during Steam's Black Friday sale I bought the Lifeline Edition of Apex (player from Origin and Steam, which did have cross-progression). I'm glad it does have cross-play at least as I have a friend with Xbox, and we play Paladins, Minecraft, Halo (at least on my PC), and Brawlhalla together.
I am glad Apex is coming out as its one of the few battle royale games I actually enjoy. Tends to be fun with teammates who work together, also, I play a decent Lifeline.
The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!
