@SM3DASislit@Blooper987 I loved the skylander games, i already love Spyro and they played like those games but with the ability to swap character mid level. I played the first 2 but stopped at swap force as it was costing me an absolute fortune lol.
I played the Infinity 2.0 for the marvel guys but I wasn't that big a fan of it so didn't pick up many of the other sets
@SM3DASislit
I don't like the design of Skylanders characters, looks like wild animals or wild aliens with scary looking.
I mostly do not like Western franchises if they have something that do not make me impressed from their looking, pattern shapes, color schemes, storyline concept and the popularity. I don't adore something like that like mainstream peoples do around me. I do like with some Western franchises like Disney, Looney Tunes, etc but only specific franchises.
@Mr-Fuggles777
So basically I can play 1.0 , 2.0 and 3.0 without even triggering any franchises that i do not like, right ?
For example, i can skip completely The Incredibles episode from 1.0 if i do not scan any Incredibles figurines.
Also, i can skip completely All Marvel superheroes and Star Wars from 2.0 and 3.0 if i do not scan their figurines.
And what will i see and play on Start menu for 1.0 , 2.0 and 3.0 are depend on what figurines i scan, right ?
Because i want to enjoy the Disney part from 2.0 and 3.0 without even being forced to play as Marvel superheroes and Star Wars.
@Anti-Matter to be honest I can't remember, I know I didn't have any star wars as I never upgraded to 3.0.
If you're that concerned just get the first game which didn't have any marvel or SW (although it did have Jack skeleton and Lone Ranger) but it would limit what Disney toys you could use as they aren't forward compatible
@Anti-Matter I haven't seen the new Dumbo movie either. That could be an interesting watch. I really like the original movie, but some aspects of it haven't aged well. I'm not even sure how they'd do the Pink Elephants dream sequence, if that even made it into the live-action remake.
@MarioLover92 I picked up Kirby Planet Robobot at some point last year (I think), but it's still backlogged. I had to settle for a UAE/Malaysia/Singapore/etc. copy, which I've read is fine as it's also NTSC. I don't recall what I paid for it, but it was likely somewhere near MSRP.
Omega Ruby is decent and offers many improvements on the original games. Heck, it even addressed a few of my complaints about the originals. Some of the story changes are welcome too in my book.
My 3DS/DS systems still see some use. I don't plan on giving any of them up for the foreseeable future.
@PokemonGirl99 My personal favorite is Torchic, but you'll have an easier time with the first gym if you choose Treecko or Mudkip. Though it's hard to go wrong with any of them IMO. I've traditionally liked fire types the best, though the final evolution's design can also sway my opinion.
Also, Jolteon cannot Mega Evolve.
@SM3DASislit I had to pull up a list of Tim Burton's filmography. From that list, I've seen: Beetlejuice The Nightmare Before Christmas Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Corpse Bride Sweeney Todd Alice In Wonderland
I've also seen bits and pieces of some of his other films, but I do have some catching up to do. Especially on his Batman films.

@Tyranexx Oh man, I remember getting Majora's Mask (3DS) for Christmas and it turned out to be the UAE version. I was a little scared at first because I know that the 3DS is region locked (seriously, why is this a thing?), but I took a chance on it and it actually works on my US 3DS. So thank goodness for that. Couldn't get into it unfortunately, lol. Kept getting stuck after like the first hour of playing or so.

@PokemonGirl99 Rustboro City Gym, it deals with rock type Pokemon.
And you should be able to trade Pokemon from X to Omega Ruby since they're in the same generation (6th gen).
@MarioLover92 I don't get why region locking was ever a thing lol. It has made tracking down a few reasonably priced 3DS games difficult. Not a huge issue with DS games thankfully.
Majora's Mask 3D was my first stab at the game. I absolutely love it - MM is now one of my fav Zelda games - but I also understand it isn't for everyone. At least not until time becomes easier to manipulate.

@Tyranexx That's great, I understand why so many people love it. It's one of the more unique Zelda games, too. I haven't even got to the first dungeon yet - I've been exploring like crazy but I keep running into dead ends, lol. May have to resort to using a walkthrough, and I try hard not to use them.

Sorry for the late replies, people! (well, at least: late replies to some of you...)
@Tyranexx I always have cocoa available to me, seeing as the coffee machine at the office also has a hot chocolate option, and besides that, there's always the powdered stuff for home use...
@TheJGG I'll put The Giver on the book back log, because it does sound intriguing, but I'm not able to tell you when or if I'll ever get to it, because with my time being so occupied with other stuff, I can barely get any game time in, let alone any other curricular activities, but we'll see.
The premise did remind me of another dystopian sci-fi novel, that tells a tale of people's feelings and emotions being either guarded or completely out in the open. It's called "The Primal Urge" and it's written by one of my all-time favorite sci-fi writers Brian Aldiss. Here's a synopsis of the book: http://brianaldiss.co.uk/writing/novels/novels-m-r/the-primal...
It is of a more adult nature, though, so I'm hoping it doesn't ruffle your feathers too much...
Another one of my favorite sci-fi writers is A.E. van Vogt, and there's an amazing short story that he wrote available to download for free here: https://bd.b-ok.africa/dl/292620/f2d5aa
It's only a couple of pages long, so you can burn through them in no time, but I am curious to find out if you get the clue straight away, because the writing style and story telling skills of this writer are very subtle and quite masterful, if I do say so myself.
In closing, I'd like to leave you with the shortest horror story ever written:
"The last man on Earth sat in his living room, quietly reading a book when suddenly, there was a knock on the door... "
@Eel Cool new avatar pic. I don't see any of my suggestions in there, though. Not that it's required, but I saw you mentioning being "kinda" inspired by them. I did also like the black & white ones you used previously, by the way.

@MarioLover92 It's very unique, and quite dark for a Zelda game. There are many things that I love about it, but perhaps my favorite thing is that the NPCs actually have lives and patterns that play out in a loop over the game's three days. Add in the interesting plot points, various masks and their uses, interesting characters, wonderful music, and general atmosphere, and you have a recipe for one of the best Zelda titles in my book.
I didn't use a walkthrough for story sections, but I did use one for some mechanics or how to obtain certain items when I was stuck.
@ThanosReXXX There are hot chocolate pods for our Keurig machines at work, so if I really want I can ditch the coffee and chug one of those instead. The problem is, there are artificial sweeteners in that particular brand, so I don't indulge very often. There are also a few packets around, but it's a similar case there.
I should probably try to make my own from scratch sometime. At least I'd know that it would only contain normal sugar and not these cheaper, not-so-great-for-you alternatives lol.
Also, a word in my last reply was supposed to be "ingest", not "invest" lol. I'm blaming that one on autocorrect.

@Eel Ah, fair enough. Then again: as mentioned before, I already thought that your last avatar pic and the ones before that looked kinda Mayan to begin with.
@Tyranexx Yeah, the real thing is obviously always better than the prefab stuff from coffee machines, but it's there, and it's free, so I drink it anyway. Not every day, mind you. I already have a tendency to become slightly overweight these days, especially due to not having options to exercise, and only working behind a computer desk.
On a side note: over here, the machines only pour drinks with actual sugar, so none of that artificial stuff...
