@bimmy-lee They'd steal a lot of cat food, dog food, feed, you name it on the old home place. So much so that dad would use some of the former as live trap bait when the critters were in season. I second them being escape artists.

I have few things outdoors at my house that they can bother, and one would need a high lockpicking skill to make it into my garage to cause mayhem. Thankfully I've used all the grass seed.

I have had the pleasure to help feed a baby raccoon someone was fostering. The little guy was cute and about the size of a three-week-old kitten. Just starting to get his climbing skills down.

@bimmy-lee We don't have 'em over here, and before, I always thought they looked adorable and were really cute, comical animals, but since I've seen quite a few videos about all they're up to, I'm not so sure anymore.

@ThanosReXXX - They are pretty cool little creatures, as you can see in that video, they’re so nimble with their front paws. What’s also evident in that video is the lack of human fear I mentioned earlier that’s bred into urban raccoons. It defies natural instinct to allow cat food lust to overcome the greater desire for survival. That thing was eating mere steps from a human. It was cool watching it eat though. They prefer to dunk everything they eat in water first if possible. I don’t really know why, but they’ll always do it given the opportunity.

Many raccoons in my neck of the woods still have a fear of humans, but @bimmy-lee is correct about them being fearless varmints in settings with more people.

Today is my favorite day of the sporting year. Championship Sunday in the NFL. Two huge games back to back, tons of snacks, and maybe an ice cold six pack in the fridge even though I’m taking a 30 day beer break. It’s just a one day break from the break, that’s all. I had a productive morning so that I could feel good about entering sloth mode for the rest of the day in about 30 minutes. Cheers!

@bimmy-lee i need to watch some of the games between going to my parents, dropping kids off at bday parties and such. You deserve a beer my friend. You've done good this far, 1 or 2 won't hurt..worst case I can fill the gap for you and have multiple cold ones tonight 😜

@ThanosReXXX Regarding that racoon & cats video: It's amazing how the racoon just calmly washes itself, and at one point turns it's back to the cats, and the cats do very little. Maybe it's because I've watched a ton of Cesar Milan Dog Whisperer, but I'm just amazed by the animals body language through the ordeal, how 3 cats let that happen. But as @bimmy-lee pionted out, there was person there filiming.

@NintendoByNature - Thanks man, just had my first few icey gulps a couple minutes ago. Hope you can work the games in using a variety of methods, phone, car radio, pretending you’re not watching a TV on mute in a restaurant. Whatever it takes.

@Woomy_NNYes - I’m surprised the cats didn’t put up any kind of fight. It was cool how they all scattered at once when the raccoon hissed. I’m thinking it’s been going on a while and the cats know they’ll get fed when the raccoon leaves. Amazing mantis video.

@bimmy-lee made my mom turn it on the big tv. I was watching it with dad and son in the small room. Surprised with the titans man, really. I cant believe they're making it this far

So the truck blew a 40amp fuse for the ignition switch when I tried to leave Lowe’s today. Swapped in another 40, same thing. Glad I have roadside. Hoping to grab a multi meter from IT when I go back to work Tuesday, then I guess I’ll work on tracing a short.

But I’m level 16 in Witcher and defeating up to level 25 enemies now, so I’ve got that going for me.

@HobbitGamer stinks about the truck. Sorry dude. I'm at level 16 too and I struggle with level 19 foglets. Especially in a crowded battle area, they're just annoying. Also on my current mission, I think it glitched where i can't finish it. I'll have to tell you what it is when i fire it up tonight. Something just doesnt seem right.

@StephanDLW Welcome back! I totally get removing yourself from social media when in a funk. I did that for about three weeks back in November. It's nice to unplug from the overall noise once in awhile.

The forums here are generally safe, but keep an eye out for/avoid the more controversial comment sections under some of the articles.
