@NintendoByNature - Ugh, spammy-bee was the worst. Thank goodness he got perma banned. So rude. We figured out a lot of stuff here today. It’s been a wild ride. The end of your last post reminds me of myself before Hobbit had me look at my prescription instructions. You might want to do the same.
Y’all should’ve eaten more Riboflavin. Listen to young Pete next time!
I’ve gotta close Asphalt or I won’t finish any other game. I’m in the top 15% in some leagues so I’ll just sit back and wait for my free prizes to start rolling in.
Guess I could play those RE demos while the lights are still on....
Edit: Nooooope. nope nope. No sir.
@Andrew_R_2000 Nice! I need to try taking it everywhere. I think I made the goose take the radio as well as a bunch of other things and tossed them into the well for no reason. It was more fun when someone chased me, I tossed it in, and they just gave up.
Oh Untitled Goose Game, you're too much fun.
The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!
Wow, I’d totally watch that. I’ve always wondered why all those old Nick series aren’t streaming somewhere, unless there’s a Nick app I don’t know about, or there’s one in the works. I think Pete and Pete may have been/is on Hulu.
@NintendoByNature - I assume those Flintstones chewables are still chronic. It’s been about 35 years since I’ve had one, but I always wanted to dump the entire bottle on my face. Choosing between strawberry and grape actually gave me anxiety. Classic Saturday morning cartoons commercial too, “We are Flintstones kids, 10 million strong and growing...”
@bimmy-lee I've always been a grape or go home guy for just about anything that has a grape option. The one exception is grape pop. Not a fan of it oddly enough. I'll have one every now and then, but it's definitely at the bottom of my list. @hobbitgamer are you afraid of the dark was so dope back in the day. That was some good after school stuff in my yout ( yes I spelled youth wrong, go watch my cousin vinny to understand the reference).
@NintendoByNature - We’ve shared our love of Grape Heads before, perhaps the finest grape flavor ever developed in a food science lab. Grape Bubblicious, grape Pop Tarts, grape Kool Aid, all soooo good. I was never a fan of any of the fruit flavored sodas though, oddly. I’d try one every once in a while just to be sure, but something about it never sat right with me.
@bimmy-lee mmmmm grape heads, grape nerds, grape laffy taffy. Think im hitting the candy store today. But yea I'm with you. I like black cherry pop, but that's the extent of fruit flavor pop. Grape kool aid does the body good though.
Got in the second figure I won on Toreba! This time it's Rei (Evangelion). Didn't think I'd win again so soon, considering I'm just playing with the 1 or 2 free plays you get a day.
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
@HobbitGamer, yeah, by browsing around Amazon & Amazon JP, it looks like the kinds of figures Toreba offers as prizes can be bought in the $20-30 range, give or take.
It's only the second one I've won since I started playing in June, but I'd say I've gotten my monies' worth (you have to put $10 into it before it gives you free plays, but once you do you can play entirely for free if you have the patience, as it only gives you 1-4 free plays a day). Shipping is free too, which is nice.

Yeah, I’ve been impressed with the quality of these Japanese claw game statues. They sure beat the carnie trinkets and fossilized candy in the claw games around here.
I picked up a carnival chalkware statue from a junk shop on Monday. I’d guess it’s circa 1960-1965 based on the paint job. It’s rare in that the coin slot wasn’t cut out, and the cork hole wasn’t punched. I paid a bit more than I’d like, but it’s a really nice piece for the collection, just a bit of wear and tear:
Mmm got some home made vodka cream sauce cookin with some penne and fresh Italian bread. After dinner we might take a walk and check out some decorated houses. It's chilly out in Chicago so its the perfect night for Halloween festivities.
