Gah.... !
A lot of mosquitoes in my house.
I oftenly wake up in the morning with itchy on my legs and arms. 😣
Electric racket was not enough to combat against the mosquitoes.
@HobbitGamer - Haha, I have a much scarier Cupie and Shirley Temple. It’s part of the allure. The creepier the better. I display them in a hutch in the dining room. They watch us eat. It’s weird, but sometimes I find them in different positions than where I left them. Now prove it’s scary, or get out troll.
@Anti-Matter - I love those electric swatters. So pleasing. My brothers and I would take turns hitting each other with them when we were young. You need a pet bat. They eat tens of thousands of mosquitoes every night.
@Anti-Matter - Ha, the dog is probably hiding then on a bad mosquito night! My dog thinks he’s pretty tough, but he’s afraid of lots of noises. The electric snap when you swat a mosquito probably sounds really loud to his ears.
@NintendoByNature - I know the feeling well. A walk will do you good. My grandpa was an amazing over eater. He called it getting “gorged”, but his accent made him substitute Ds for Gs at the beginning of words, so he got “dorged”. He always took a long walk to feel better.
They’re coming for you Barbara... erm, I mean Hobbit.
@NintendoByNature - I swear I’ll get that recipe, and in time for Thanksgiving. I’ve only asked my mom three times. Worst case scenario, I’ll get it myself on Halloween. The eye is doing pretty good, thanks for asking. Still looks disgusting, and it’s still really blurry if I close the good one, but the pain is mostly gone, and there’s no sign of infection. Great night for Fright Night! The remake was okay, but the OG is a classic. I’ve said it before, but Hereditary is on Prime, and that movie freaks me the heck out. Watched it again last weekend and just... jeez. Terror.
@bimmy-lee I wasn't Crazy about the remake. But the original is one of the best. And yea dude I need that recipe lol. I Haven't heard of hereditary. What's the fuss about? Ghouls? Demons? Psychological thriller?
@NintendoByNature - It’s a psychological horror all the way through with strong supernatural elements, but to say what elements exactly would give away too much of the experience. I’ve heard people say it’s just okay, but it instantly jumped into my top 10 horror movies. There are a couple scenes that will stick with me forever. I don’t have enough thumbs to put up for Hereditary.
@NotTelevision - Isn’t it just superb? So, so well done. Every aspect of it. I love Toni Collette. Piano wire. Oh. My. Goodness.
In 10 hours I've played an RPG, a hack-n-slash, a shoot-em-up, a platformer and an adventure game all in one
Honestly the Switch could really make this game a lot more accessible to newcomers given the lack of an autosave system as is commonplace in other current RPG games
Although I don't really want to imagine the sacrifices that will have to be made to the game's visual fidelity and performance to even get it to run

@NotTelevision yea when you compare it to the Halloween remake it's pretty decent. I didn't mind the Texas chainsaw remake all that much. It's just such a good story(FN). It used to freak me out into thinking my neighbors were up to no good after all that transpired in the movie lol. It was like, " what if my neighbor was a vampire and i saw something i shouldnt have and he knew i saw him!" Man, what a way to freak kids out back in the day haha. @bimmy-lee sounds like it's right up my alley. I loved shutter island which is psychological thriller/horror all the way. Those kinds of movies i can watch all day. They just really get into my head though. 😁
One that I saw recently and would recommend to fans of classic horror movies, is The Innocents (1961). It’s based off The Turn of the Screw, which also was the basis for The Others with Nicole Kidman.
The children in this movie are so creepy. Really gets under your skin.
