@BruceCM You know them, you just don't know you know them. They were all at E3 this year and last yer (actually ,not sure if Kendra was there this year. Theresa and Audrey were. Audrey wasn't there last year, but Kendra was.) They're all Treehouse staff, and you'll see them credited in many Nintendo games. I wondered if Audrey was even there after the 2017 meltdown above But then I saw her credited in some game, that released afterward.
Theresa gets credited sometimes. Not sure I've seen Kendra credited. Nate Bhildorf is credited often. You see him at Treehouse often. Same with Chiko who I suspect is actually one of the primary direct translators along side Bill.
Who was it that used to go on on the live stream chats here about "Dreamy Eric?" I forgot that little NL meme
@Tyranexx Well, you could either send him Audrey-related stuff, or REALLY scare the crap out of him by dressing up as her and donning a mask and then unexpectedly knocking on his door. That'll teach him...
Oh, and don't even bother trying to make him see she's not at all what he thinks she is. In that respect, NES is actually quite similar to Anti: just stick to your own opinion, facts or the majority be damned...
@KarateLuigi Well, keep in mind, I did say that I suspect SOME people to rather love the idea of winter instead of winter itself, but me, I actually do, as long as it doesn't go into extremes, as I also previously mentioned. I haven't gotten around to it these last couple of years, due to personal and professional circumstances, but I used to go on winter sports every year, either to ski or snowboard, so I literally love snow, as long as it has the right consistency to ski or snowboard on.
@NEStalgia I think I've finally figured it out now: you're a hermit, you don't like winter sports, or any kind of sport if I remember correctly, you don't like winter, you're "a bit" scared/intimidated by confident women and you like and talk about trains WAY too much. I don't know why I never thought of that before, but yesterday, it dawned on me all of a sudden: you're no groundhog at all. You're SHELDON!
Oh, by the way: thanks for posting that video of the lovely Ms. Drake. I like her even more now...
It isn't the one you mentioned, though. I've browsed through the entire video, and no offensive quotes there, other than some minor quips around 3m40s, where she says "I don't like your kind" to a Bokoblin, which is of course only ever half serious and completely in context of the game. I'd say the same, and would kill them with the same if not with more glee than her.
But all kidding aside: I always thought you were talking about her earlier Treehouse performances, in the Wii U days, when all of them were wearing those blue shirts. That is also the year that she kept imitating fountain fairies all the time. In subsequent years, that too was considerably toned down.
And I mean, come on, what's NOT to like?
And here's a nice one to show you how much positive (if somewhat juvenile) feedback she got during E3 2016 compared to wholesome, girl next door cookie scout Theresa:

One might even say that it's also a pretty decent representation of how lonely you are in your specific opinion of her...
'The console wars are like boobs: Sony and Microsoft fight over which ones look the nicest and Nintendo's are the most fun to play with.'
All I remember about her is that she just unapologetically removed Link's clothes during that demo.
In the cold snow.
I remember finding her creepy as she did that and it was more the comments she was making at the time. I wasn't upset or anything by it but it reminded me of teenage boys gawking at the nude mod Tomb Raider.
@NEStalgia I'll have to give it a watch/listen in a little while to make sure. I think I do recall the "Just hit him in the head, he'll be fine" comment though. Due to the context, I don't really find anything wrong with that statement.
Or maybe I'm also secretly a homicidal maniac....
@BruceCM I was alluding to the fact that we talk about weird, random stuff here. There are a few discussions where I just sit on the sidelines....
@ThanosReXXX I like that idea even better! Ohhhhhh...The possibilities.... I'm picturing myself barging into @NEStalgia's residence in an Audrey outfit and mask, complete with a similar wig. I'll be attempting to pull off the weird Fairy Fountain laugh while chasing him around with a fake, bloodstained katana while spouting random Audrey quotes and memes....
Haunt season is practically here, so my thoughts take a bit of a dark turn. XD
When I was a younger lad, I was in love with both Morticia and Wednesday. I guess I was just trying to spread my luck around and keep all my options open. I had nothing on Gomez though. Such a sly devil.
@Tyranexx - I played with them too. I think there are two varieties, some that shed/irritate, and some that don’t. I used to set up little obstacle courses for them with sticks. When I was young, there was an old guy who hung around my grandpa’s shop who swore he could tell how bad a winter would be by their behavior. I can’t remember exactly what he used to say about it, but it was basically some Boomhauer hillbilly voodoo.
@NintendoByNature - Wow man, you’re flying! I probably won’t finish by LM3. I’ve never played it before, and it’s so weird and whacky, that I’m just sort of soaking it all in.
I feel like I'll be sticking out like a sore thumb with replying to weather posts in the midst of people having fallen into the booby trap.
@bimmy-lee I looked them up and aww, those little fuzzballs look like the cutest, crawling toilet brushes. No Instagram account on my end, I'm afraid, this here's the only site I've joined (nope, no Facebook or Twitter either).
@NEStalgia I... don't even know what to say. You have my sympathy for having to deal with this much snow, this sounds insane.
@ThanosReXXX Ah, pardon, my own thoughts got mixed into my phrasing there. I didn't mean to put any words in your mouth, even if it's a very minor case. Also, now I can't help but imagine someone trying to ski on the muddy slush we get. Just... standing there, skiing pose and full gear, not moving at all but still looking like they're having fun.

@KarateLuigi - Haha, don’t worry, this thread is at its best when there are three or four conversations occurring simultaneously with no relation to one another. It’s like a cocktail party where you just sort of mingle around listening in, and jump in wherever you’re interested, or you can just stand in the middle of the room talking to yourself about caterpillars until someone joins in. The thing I can’t quite understand about the hickory tussock moth caterpillars is their bright white coloring. It makes them stand out, at least to my eye, and I would think that could only help make them lunch for a predator. I’m curious what you plant in your garden?
Here’s a prize picture of a Giant Leopard moth I took a few years ago. Only one I’ve seen in my life, and it was just sitting on the front gate one day. I initially thought it was ninja nano tech:
@KarateLuigi We don't get that much snow all the time...it's not Wisconsin. But snow here comes in 2 formats. Either another .5-1.5" EVERY SINGLE MORNING at the AM rush, or a 6-12ft dump. Not every year gets the 6-12ft dump. I remember 2010 or so we had one epic blizzard of like 8ft....and then 5 or 6 days later, ANOTHER epic blizzard of like 8 ft. You can't actually open your front door, you have to use it as a ram to hammer back the concrete-like snow, and then shovel what is probably well over a ton, ton and a half of snow- or really, water-saturated snow re-frozen....and be back in work in a day or so.
There was still melting snow in parking lots in June.
