I thoroughly enjoy cold weather. I was born in Virginia and went to college in a town on the Virginia/Tennessee line, winters were awesome. We get maybe two months of nice cold weather down in Jow'ja though.
I'm trying to play catch up on some massive projects and still deal with pre-audit stuff. Me so seepy.

I loved snow when I was younger, probably because we don't get much of it here.... Unfortunately, as an adult, it's really more of a nuisance OK while I'm in, looking out; it's pretty & nice seeing kids having fun with it So, really, not a big fan anymore
LOL. I grew up and still live in Wisconsin, and last winter was BRUTAL. We got all of it in February, where every day was a foot of snow, or -50 with the wind chill. And there was also a "one last storm" in April that gave us 2 feet! The year before, we went from 3 feet of snow to 90 degrees in 5 weeks!
Be yourself, no matter who you are!
For me, that's being madly in love with fictional characters. Plz don't judge.
Yes, my first anime was High School DxD. Don't ask or judge!

Usually we don't get too much snow where I live despite our temperatures - it's either slush or it goes away after a few days if it sticks at all. However, a few years ago we had a full-blown catastrophe with > 1 m/3 ft of snow hitting all of a sudden. Infrastructure collapsed, nothing but snow as far as the eye could see, and as bothersome as it was it still got me really excited because I'm weird when it comes to intense weather. I tried to take pictures but unfortunately my potato camera would have none of it.

We usually have brutal late Jan/Feb weather here. The kind of cold that freezes your face and makes your hands just start cracking apart and bleeding if they’re exposed outside for more than a few seconds.
@Tyranexx - That was Anti’s list yesterday, and I botched it by forgetting NBN, but I was happy to help deliver it. I even learned how to post pics.
@NintendoByNature - I was probably inappropriately young when I saw Ghostbusters and lived in terror of the first ghost in the library for years. I’m sure lots of people did as well. Even as an adult, I brace myself for that scene. Loved The Real Ghostbusters as well and had some of the toys.
@KarateLuigi - One of the things I like about this time of year; for five days last week, there were wooly caterpillars everywhere, but not one in sight this week. The most common sight was the Hickory Tussock Moth caterpillar. It’s a pretty white and black wooly with a couple rows of extra long, feathery hairs. I did get some pictures while they were out. Do you happen to use Instagram? I kind of use my account there to document stuff from the natural world and my kids. I haven’t posted anything all summer, but I’m working through my pics for a belated summer picture dump.
I like cooler weather and generally enjoy fall, but when the temp drops into the 30s and below...nope. I do like what I consider a reasonable amount of snow (3-4 in. or 7-10 cm max) with little ice. Past that, driving conditions suck and I can't get away with not shoveling my driveway. If there was a scientific way for snow to exist outside in 60-70 degree weather, I'd be happy. I like the stuff but don't enjoy it nearly as much as when I was a kid.
The winters here (south/central IL) vary. Last winter was quite mild, but there's talk that this winter will be a harsh one. The last really bad one was back in January and February of 2014. There were two massive snowfalls, one towards the beginning of each month. Coupled with brutally cold temps, the first snow had only partially melted when round 2 hit almost a month later.
Eh, at least my grass will die a brown, frozen death before too long. I always look forward to that.
@NEStalgia It's possible that I missed some of the weirder Audrey segments the year before last or else didn't think much of them. I tend to just watch the E3 Treehouse segments later. That way I can focus on what I'm interested in.
The "bubbliness" while frequently mentioning murder is quite hilarious to me (blame the time of year lol) but yeah...maybe not so much when you're one of the spokespeople at a Nintendo event.
@bimmy-lee One of the things I enjoy about this time of year is seeing all the woolly caterpillars. They're everywhere and jaywalk across roads with reckless abandon. I used to even handle them quite a bit as a kid; I liked petting their fluff and was never bothered by them.
There's a local TV station that even does a woolly worm "forecast" of sorts that tries to predict how the winter will be based on the color submissions they get. It's all hogwash IMO, but it's still entertaining.
@HobbitGamer Virginia and Tennessee do not have "winter." Head North for Winter. I'll hand you a shovel. Nothing like a day at the office, after 4 or 5 hours doing excavation work by hand!
@Andrew_R_2000 I'd definitely have drowned myself long ago if I were in Wisconsin. I mean even among miserable places that one ranks as miserable in terms of the weather. Siberia is an upgrade.
@StableInvadeel MYOB, nobody asked you, warmie. Here, here's a kind message I wrote for you in your native language to show you what I think of you: तपाइँको स्थायी गर्मी लिनुहोस् र भरिनुहोस्
@KarateLuigi 3ft is "frustrating." More bothersome can be the daily 1" at rush hour.....you have to go out and do mini shoveling twice a day every day and everything is juuust slippery enough to refreeze. When you get the 6-12ft it's crippling. And you're expected to be in work the next day. And there's always those few "go getters" that show up SAME DAY and get all the praise, of course..... This, @thanosrexxx is why we need more guns.
@bimmy-lee I always classified Ghost Busters as "horror" until about 10 years ago when I found out it was comedy.....
@Tyranexx LOL yeah this is conservative Nintendo we're talking about. One of their PR faces constantly giggling while talking about murder is not going to sit well. Maybe for a Bethesda show it would earn bonus points...not Nintendo.
Add to the scary factor that she's an FE super-fan. Camilla-like sociopathy and casualness toward murder and a strategist.....horrifying!
It was just hilarious this time though, she' straightened out, and one of the Overcooked 2 guys dropped an s-bomb or f-bomb and she reprimanded him on camera. I was thinking "wow...getting disciplined by Audrey. You're already dead....."
@bimmy-Lee I think I'm turning on Ghostbusters tonight to get me in the mood for the game Friday. Believe it or not, I'm already on the last dungeon(level 8) in links awakening. Still have to take on the big bad after that, But still I'm chugging along alot faster than i did in the dx version. With that said, I should finish the game tonight or tomorrow at the latest. Just enough time to fire up the proton pack Friday night. @NEStalgia GB is definitely in the comedy spectrum. Based on horror, but it's funny as well. It's more like a family friendly version of the evil dead/army of darkness. Both are in the horror genre, but there's tons of laughs to be had.
@Tyranexx I wish I could find an animated gif of the "I'll wipe out your entire race" segment.....the lasting joy of it isn't the giggly genocide. It was the dazed, confused, horrified panic on the faces of Theresa and Kendra. It was a look that screamed "I can't believe this is happening, they're going to close Treehouse down, do something, do something!?!?!" We need a slow motion gif with the "I'll wipe out your entire race caption" just looping over T&K's reaction expression over and over and over again....

@BruceCM In short, welcome to the Chit-Chat Thread!
@NEStalgia I...think I either missed that segment or forgot about it. You'll have to find me some footage if it exists. XD
Your perception of Audrey sounds less like Camilla from Fates and more like Henry from Awakening. The guy was a smiling dark mage with some sadistic tendencies. I found him to be one of the more fascinating characters. Can't remember who I paired him with....
I hate winter with a passion. More than the cold & ice though, is all the sickness. I'm a germaphobe and January & February I feel like I'm tip-toeing my way through a living nightmare (especially since I'm a receptionist at an independant living service provider, so many of the other people who work here have contact with people with weakened immune systems & catch things a bit more often than the general population, sometimes even in the "off season" time of year).
However I love Christmas, like snow (my workplace actually owns the little street it's located off of, which means the city doesn't treat or clear it & I get nearly as many snow days as I did as a kid), and my birthday is in February, so there's a bit of a bittersweetness to it.

@Tyranexx I'm not positive this is it. I don't have audio, and I don't have the time to burn to watch the whole thing and wait for it, but I think it's in this segment:
This was in between her other segments going on and on and on about her husbando (Xander) ....And his horse which is how I linked her and Camilla.....Henry might work similarly for her, but Camilla is more giggly about it
This may or may not be where "Just hit him in the head. He'll be fine." was
Probably because I'm not familiar with those people, @NEStalgia & @Tyranexx .... I've seen gameplay from the last couple of years' treehouses but didn't watch the whole lot
