@Zuljaras On an unrelated side note: I hope that my comment on the Warhammer games made things a bit more clear for you, or that it was at the very least informative. And if you see it floating around somewhere on the web for a decent price, be sure to get that Warhammer Space Marine game for the Xbox 360, it's a pretty entertaining action adventure. You could also get the digital version, which is pretty darn cheap nowadays.
There's also several free add-ons available from that official Xbox 360 marketplace page I posted, as well as a demo so you could also try it out first, to see if it's something you'd enjoy, before actually buying the full version.

@Zuljaras What a beautiful sight. He looks so... angelic yet almost as if he’s been fused with a demon straight from hell.
Only reason I’ve heard of the term archangel is because of the Persona games, and there are four mini-boss archangels right at the end of the game. Their names? Azrael, Michael, Gabriel and Raphael. The name Marcus looks so.. belonging with those.
You can see the anguish in his face. Is he just an enemy, a boss, or an important villain or character that’ll have a backstory and dialogue?
@TheJGG He is a Boss in the Dark Cathedral area of the Castle. Every enemy and boss will have lore in the Bestiary section in the pause menu.
Also there will be many sources of lore in the castle like scrolls, tablets, book, pages! You name it! Here is a dedicated page for it in the menu as well:
This scrolls that is found in the castle is actually a clue for a puzzle in one of the castle's hidden rooms
@Zuljaras full disclaimer: I didn't craft them, just paint (i wish i was that talented). They're from the Dark Souls board game. From what I looked up they're made from PVC (does that sound right?). Its a bit stiff and stubborn when I need to reset things like bent weapons.

@Losermagnet Ahh I knew they are from DS. They are a boss fight. PVC is the plastic material from which some window frames are made. Very durable material. Also very nice painting skills!
@Zuljaras thank ya 😊 i was pretty happy with how they turned out. Metallic paint gives me a hard time, so i tried a few different techniques to get a different texture (dry brushing and sponge).

I drew Balinese Boy and Girl for drawing lesson grade 1 and 3 last Wednesday as 21 April 2021 was a celebration of Kartini's Day so i decided to teach drawing about Indonesia. The boy students drew the Balinese Boy while the girl students drew Balinese Girl (Pendet dancer). I drew the background separately so the students can arrange the position of their character and place the things freely as background.
@Losermagnet Very nice paint job, man. Well done. Just out of curiosity: are these figures supposed to be all metallic or did you choose to paint them that way yourself?

@ThanosReXXX Thanks 😁 i tried to match what they looked like in-game and, as best I could tell, their armor sets were tarnished gold. I think it looks samey on the models, but it worked out because an all-over paint job saved me some time (I am horribly slow at painting).

I wrote this in under an hour; I tend to write better under pressure. It's about the July 20 plot to assassinate Hitler. The instructor asked for two paragraphs, I wrote three pages.
The July 20 plot was an assassination attempt which ultimately failed to wrest power from Adolf Hitler, and the SS. While there were precisely twenty-seven separate attempts from parties all over the world to put an end to the Fürher’s regime, this was easily the most ambitious attempt of them all, and the one that came the closest to success. There was much background to the plot itself but the detail worth remembering from before the plot was that Hitler signed an amendment to the Operation Valkyrie plans, which had been drafted in mid-1943. The man who presented the amended plans was Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg, who had been appointed Chief of Staff of Germany’s Reserve Army. A man in his position had access to Hitler, and Stauffenberg used this to his advantage. Henning von Treskow had already tried to assassinate Hitler, by smuggling a bomb onto a plane Hitler was on. Due to altitude the bomb did not detonate, increasing suspicions around him.
Stauffenberg himself had a storied service record for the Nazis. He first joined the German army in 1926 and was present when Germany invaded Poland in 1939. But after a short stint in the Soviet Union, during which he witnessed for himself the ways Slavs and Jews were treated by the Germans, he started to grow increasingly disillusioned with Germany. He requested a transfer and he found himself in Tunisia as a staff officer. When the campaign area was bombed by Australian air forces, he was critically wounded, losing his left eye, his entire right hand, and two fingers off his left hand. While recovering from his wounds at home he was invited to join what would become the July 20 plot, working with other conspirators such as Colonel Friedrich Olbricht, Major General Henning von Treskow, and Colonel Ludwig Beck.
The main motivations for the July 20 Plot were Hitler’s mistreatment of Jews and Slavs, and the increasing tensions around the world. Many of the conspirators reasoned that Hitler’s death would allow them to take control of Germany and incite an immediate surrender. Despite the heightened motivations for those such as Stauffenberg and Treskow, the latter was candid about their chances of pulling it off; saying that "even if it should not succeed, an attempt to seize power in Berlin must be made [...] to prove to the world and for the records of history that the men of the resistance dared to take the decisive step."
The plot did not start off convincingly, because of multiple circumstances collaborating towards its downfall. First, the military briefing Hitler and Stauffenberg were supposed to attend in the Wolf’s Lair (Hitler’s base of operations in Poland), had been moved from the inside of the bunker to the conference room, due to hot weather. The bomb had been designed to detonate in the bunker, which had no outside ventilation and was very small, meaning the blast would have been amplified, guaranteeing Hitler’s death. The conference room was a hut with open windows, meaning the blast would have detonated with less force. Second, Colonel Heinz Brandt moved a briefcase containing the hidden bomb, away from Hitler, towards the table leg, meaning he would have been shielded from the blast. Therefore when the bomb detonated at 12:42pm it did not kill Hitler, in fact it only gave him minor bruises and burns, and he was able to host Benito Mussolini for an afternoon meeting later that day.
Stauffenberg was convinced that Hitler was dead, and gave the all-clear for Operation Valkyrie to commence. But Olbricht refused to start it unless there was confirmation of the death, and though Stauffenberg managed to convince him, several hours passed, delaying the plan. Furthermore, Friedrich Fromm, commander-in-chief of the Reserve Army, refused to cooperate, and was arrested by Stauffenberg. But when the news that Hitler was alive came in, the Reserve Army realised they had been used, and began to close in on the conspirators. Fromm was freed and to avoid his own name getting involved, rapidly court-martialed the entire group and ordered the execution of all but one of the conspirators by firing squad. Beck was given the chance to take his own life, and when the poison failed he was killed by firing squad.
Heinz Brandt was the primary reason Hitler was not killed on July 20th 1944. Although the plan had been compromised because of the conference hut, it was very much possible for the bomb to have killed Hitler, because it had killed one soldier and critically wounded many already. Whether he knew about the intention to kill Hitler or not, his action changed the course of history.
@Zuljaras Dude this looks great, so is the art contest for putting your artwork on the box art bc if thats true then man wouldn't it be cool if this was on there, Keep up the good work.
