Topic: E3 2013 Countdown & Discussion Thread

Microsoft's "best franchises" are just the stupid Kinect and Halo series and neither of those franchises are all that great. They own Banjo Kazooie but never do anything with him! What the heck Microsoft?!?! You bought Rare so you could make one Banjo game, never use him again, and make a bunch of terrible Kinect games? Why?!?!?!?! And Sony actually has some good franchises like Sly Cooper, Littlebigplanet, Uncharted, Jak and Daxter, and Ratchet & Clank. But Nintendo is where it's at. All you people who say Nintendo is "stupid" and "is for kids" can go jump into a volcano and burn because Nintendo has some of the world's best franchises. Mario and Zelda cannot be beat. I cannot wait for Nintendo to reveal Super Mario U (3D platforming game) (title pending) and The Legend of Zelda U (3D action-adventure game) (title pending) because Nintendo never fails at those franchises. I also cannot wait for Sonic (3D platforming game) (title pending), Rayman Legends, Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, and other great franchises.

I'm a little upset that Tecmo Koei has nothing in store for Nintendo this year (they just have a few PS3, 360, & Vita titles to highlight), but two of those titles are Ninja Gaiden Z & Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate, so I'm still interested.

I'm excited to watch the Sony confrence. I can't wait to see gameplay footage of inFamous: Second Son. I'm hype for the very likely Uncharted 4 too. I'm going to do a black out on Uncharted 4 after it's revealed though, heck I might shield my eyes some during the announcement. I want the game and all of its new features to be a surprise when I play it. If Naughty Dog is working on something else I will be really hype for that anyway though. I'm also excited to see what new IPs they will bring to the table. I hope they make another T rated frachise like they did with inFamous and Uncharted.

I expect sony to generally steal the console/game show, with Nintendo WOWing their elect group.

I'm mostly a 3DS gamer, though, so I hope to see more 3rd party games announced for it. Nintendo's own lineup is looking good, but a new Metroid or Sakura Samurai (eShop) wouldn't hurt.

I'm hearing the God of War team will be unveiling a new IP, and it's a shooter. That doesn't make me feel to good, but we'll see.

What about that unannounced third Sonic title for 2013? I'm putting my money on a racing game of some sort... (Sonic x Nintendo Riders, perhaps? Nah... )
