Try setting the sprite page to 1, then do your stuff. If you're loading from the main banks on the top screen to write to the banks on the bottom screen, then you'll have to alternate between sprite page 0 to read, and then sprite page 1 to write.

FOR I=0 to 255
SPPAGE 0:CHRREAD("SPU0",I),CCHR$
SPPAGE 1:CHRSET "SPS0",I,CCHR$
NEXT

The reason for the bank name difference is probably because the bottom is much more limited to how many 8x8 pixel blocks you can store. Accessing sprites on the bottom screen go only up to 116 or 117, whereas the top goes up to 511 (a total of 2048 8x8 pixel blocks).

In DA1 version 1.1.1, always quit after saving to avoid losing gold.

Edit: Wow...my game has become fun for me now that I've added in saves...It has risen above Puchicon RPG to become my personal favorite PTC game...even though I made it...I feel self-centered, but I don't care. I just love the depth of my game.

I'm not complaining about you saying you're taking vacation. I'm complaining about the fact that you just QUOTE everything without regard of content or relevancy. You're quoting a huge chunk of text when only a few of those lines are relevant. If you look around, you'll see people trimming their quotes to just the relevant section. Please do likewise.

You mean the announcement that gets 500 responses in one day? Haha. Do people really miss that?
If you're planning to get it for Petit Computer, I suggest that you go for the XL model. I never went back after I use the XL version. You can transfer from one device to another locally no problem. QR is only used when out of Streetpass range.

I didn't understand much from the video, but It looks like those who are in second place (or nominated) also get a prize. (snip) It looks like the nominees get the stickers mentioned at the beginning (or maybe the original soundtrack, but I doubt it).

I'm pretty sure it'll be a random drawing all around, so who knows? Maybe one of us will get a Gundam model kit. Then again, I don't speak Japanese, so I could be wrong.
Does anybody here who speaks Japanese be willing to translate the announcement?

It's hard on my phone, too. That's why I wait until I get home to reply to messages. No post is that urgent.
If you have to use the phone, and long quotes, then it's a simple matter to just write a one line summary, instead of quoting a bunch of irrelevant messages.

I'm back, did I miss anything?

I have nothing really to say about myself.

Didn't really think so. So, I'll just open Petit Computer as normal...
Edit: Okay, my problem remains sadly. I coded this into edit mode:
LOAD "SPU1:WMR1"
SPOFS 0,64,0,0,0,0
I press run and it says it can't locate the sprite file, and it says I have a syntax error at SPOFS.

For some strange reason, PTCUtilities won't let me use the classic Minecraft grass block from alpha as 4 background tiles with a COL. The COL gets loaded, but on PTC, the Grass block still looks like a mess while other textures from Minecraft work just fine with their appropriate COL files.

Hmm... I have no clue what COL files are even used for, so I can't help, but what are you trying to do? I still might be able to help

instead of SPOFS use SPSET:
LOAD "SPU0:FILENAME",0
SPSET 0,64,0,0,0,1

@IAmAPerson Now you're learning VISUAL C++? As powerful as it is, and I have it on my desktop, how many programming languages will you learn? How many times will you change your focus??
@boot Cannot locate file. And on top of that it displays the blue-haired sprite instead, the OPPOSITE of what I'm trying to load.

Don't actually load SPU0:FILENAME use whatever file you need to load. and to chane the color change the 3rd number in SPSET

I was learning C++, but my dad got me a VC++ compiler, so I have to use that. I originally wanted to learn plain C, but when I saw how popular C++ was, I switched to that. I only plan to master this, VC++, and possibly Java.

I didn't try to load SPU0:FILENAME I loaded SPU1:WMR1. I read the manual on my DSi and I tried loading the sprite color I wanted. But it can't locate the file apparently. I also used the right color that I wanted on SPSET.
@IAmAPerson Cool. Java isn't apparently TOO hard, as they do programming camp for kids around 10 to 12 and they teach Java and Scratch.
Edit: German????

@Discostew Thank you! It works now. The problem wasn't SPPAGE (even though I needed to know that too, thank you), it was the fact that I was testing it on a sprite that was beyond 0-63. Ugh, I'm so dumb lol.

the only other programming language I know is ALICE. Are you sure that that is the name of you file? if you are try to do it without loading your sprites and see what it does

@slayer you sure it's not JavaScript that they teach? They are different languages, and Java is supposed to be VERY hard. And yes, German. Problem?
Just to say I'm not off-topic:
I made a fun little program that looks like its installing a virus, continues to do all these processes (like "Unpacking library conio.h"), then makes a blue screen of death. I'll upload tomorrow.
