@GuSilverFlame I tried that after it failed a few times.
It just sat on my home screen at 99% for ages, and then eventually decided to spew out an error message at me.
@BenAV weird I don't know what might solve it then... @Gioku if you leave HQ on. the video takes the whole screen(but the quality doesn't increase)

@GuSilverFlame: hmmm... I hit HQ but nothing happened... I guess I should just wait for it to load...? I haven't spent much time with it; it's been a huge hassle trying to log into my "Gioku" account, so I still haven't been able to access my account yet... it prompted me to log into my Google Account but it keeps having an error... I think I'll probably just be sticking with my laptop.
@Gioku it took so long to open the page to log in that I decided to not log in so this problem I didn't have

The app is live in North America. Yes, the resolution is not great, but whatever at least Nintendo kept their promise and released it during November. I checked out some of my own videos and they look alright. I've had no bug issues. Thanks Nintendo, happy holidays to you.
I had some crashes, too. It hasn't happened more than twice, though...
Anyway, I think it's ok. I usually don't watch Youtube unless I need info on something, so I may not be the best critique.
The audio quality is decent and as long as the screen shows something, it's ok. As far as account management goes, it doesn't require you to post online to log in, so that's a plus. You can also reply to comments that you've made in your message box, but you can't make comments directly on the videos.
In conclusion, it's perfectly fine for me. Honestly, having this and the internet browser should suffice for light users like me.
I think the biggest issue for me at the moment is not being able to switch to my regular "Gioku" account from my "default" account... I just can't get it to work!
Am I the ONLY person that gets an error message (Error Code: 007-2999) every time I try to download this, always at 99%?
Doesn't matter if I download it straight off the eShop or try a sleep mode download, it can never quite make it there.
App must be so bad that my 3DS doesn't even want it.
I got that error code a lot of time before I manged to get the Louvre app. Maybe an eshop problem?
Btw, the youtube app is okay. Its picture stinks, but its still a start
I tried it. Despite poor resolution and inability to use different accounts under the same email address (on 3DS app), I'm still glad it's finally here.

Yeah, the whole thing feels like it's just barely holding together... and I dislike the fact that nothing highlights when you tap on it... so I have no idea if something's actually been selected or not.
it's pretty nice. i dont think its as bad as everyone else says it is. resolution is bad, yes, but it doesnt really bother me. and sometimes the touch screen controls dont work, but its pretty nice overall. i dont have a smart-phone, so its pretty nifty. sound quality is nice and loud too.
i am part of a social group interested in uniting the world by painting it blue.
Blue blue.
Just tried it myself. The video quality is not nearly as bad as some other are claiming although it likely depends on the type of video you are watching. I figured there would be issues. People were begging for this to come to 3DS so it probably was kinda rushed. The problem mentioned could be easily fixed in an update
now it froze and I had to force shutdown...... never found any important bug in anything else on the 3DS so far...
