Topic: YouTube App is Here! Is it Awful or Okay?

Ah so it got the update? I was wondering about that.
The day Miiverse came out I tried accessing some of the Youtube videos uploaded by developer accounts but got a message telling me to update to the latest version of the Youtube app. Well I checked the eshop the next day (When the eshop was working) and there wasn't any update ready.

Yep it must have just got the update then as there was no update for it earlier

Edit: Apparently you can launch Youtube from the Miiverse app now.

To anyone who downloaded the update:
Under settings, email, can you still go to comment in google+? If you can, then click on Download Google Chrome. Next just scroll to the bottom of the page, and there should be a google link. If this still works, then the youtube app works as a 3DS flash browser,

I use my 3DS for games only so all of these other features such as a web browser, camera, YouTube app, and other such stuff is useless to me. I use my phone, tablet, Chromebook, or desktop for those purposes and sort of wish Nintendo would just keep to video gaming and avoid the 'all purpose device" mindset.

But that's just my personal opinion on things.

I haven't had any problems with it, but others have.

since the use youtube app to watch non-youtube videos "easter egg" I give it a 4/5 before knowing that my score for it was 1/1000

lol just thought of something, since you can watch other video sites within youtube why not watch go to youtube for better resolution? Then you'd be watching youtube within a youtube app xD

Up until now I still can't find this supposed Google + comment button . Guessing I need to sign up for a google+ account to make t appear, don't I.

@TeeJay yup you must log into youtube with your google account(any Gmail works I didn't even know it counted as google+)

Already tried, it redirects you to the youtube app page.

The update actually made the Youtube app on 3DS run alot smoother and faster for me....

This update sadly ruined the whole app for me as it ran better before. Now its just non-stop lag and crashing.

I think it really depends how many blocks you have left on your card, the more you have left the better the app does, the less the worse, it ran good for me when I had 27k+ blocks but now that I have 1k left it doesn't run so well >.>
