Samuel Oak and Samson Oak... Not very creative. Their parents need to visit the Name Rater!

Well, at least is not like the anime with Nurse Joy, Nurse Joy, Nurse Joy, Nurse Joy, Nurse Joy, the Joy Sisters (who are nurses), Nurse Joy, Joy the Nurse, Nurse Joy, Nurse Joy, Nurse Joy, Nurse Joy, Action Nurse Joy, Nurse Joy, and the favorite of everyone, Nurse Joy.

And those are the ones from a single city.

So we've got an Alolan Oak. I wonder if we'll get that Alolan Knuckles whose images have been circulating around for a while.

Apparently it's the first ever Fighting/Fighting Type.

@Maxz Man, that trailer with the CG Solageao and Lunala sure has aggressive music!

Don't hate me because I'm bnahabulous.

So apparently Z-forms will be a thing (possibly, as in rumoured, but credible)...

@MegaBeedrill From the ''Chinese riddler''. He posted: ''Gen 6: Meganium, Yanmega; Gen 7: Porygon-Z'' He's not hinting at Z-moves, we know about that by now, so I assume its Z-forms.

Octane

Maxz

@Octane Could you put that in context? What does it mean that he's written each of those Pokémon's names? And what evidence do we have that Porygon-Z has anything to do with Z moves, Z forms, or Z anything else? Porygon-Z has been around since DPPt, way before calling things X, Y and Z was cool.

@Octane Isn't Porygon Z already a thing? It's the last evolution of Porygon.

I don't understand what he's saying there.

Meganium and Yanmega, where does it say "Z form" and why are they mentioned as "gen 6" (the gen we're leaving right now)?

Now that part of the leak is making the chinese riddler (sticking with that) skeptical.

Imagine if Porygon-Z got its own Z-Crystal that glitched the entire fabric of reality.

〜Ooh〜

Or maybe an Alolan form where the Aether foundation has toyed around with its code and turned it into a Ghost type. A virus ghost.

A ghost in the machine. A machine in the ghost.

Double 〜Ooh〜

@Maxz @roy130390 Porygon-Z doesn't have anything to do with Z-moves; It's a riddle. Meganium and Yanmega = Mega Evolutions in gen 6. Porygon-Z = Z-forms in gen 7(?). The guy posts convoluted stuff like this all the time.

Before the reveal of the legendaries, he posted a picture of Litleo and Zubat. He posted ''KOKO'' before Tapu Koko was revealed and he posted a picture of hands along with a picture of guts before Pyukumuku was revealed. I think he hinted at quite a lot of Pokemon, game mechanics and other stuff at this point. Often difficult to tell what they mean, but they make sense in hindsight.

Maxz

@Octane That's very cryptic. It deserves an 〜Ooh〜.

Like you say, it would be hard to guess what he was implying from the other examples without prior knowledge, but if his track record is as clean as you say it is, then it's at the very least intriguing.

How do we know he wasn't just talking about Z-moves?

Sounds clever.

Off topic though, I always wondered with all these "chinese leaks", are the games even developed in china for anybody there to have this info? I don't know if the start and finish of a progammable game are made in china like most products.

@Bolt_Strike I assume because he posted this recently? Speaking of which, @Octane, where's your direct source for this guy's output?

Something I noticed in that Japanese overview trailer: Gladion has a different effect when starting a battle than other Team Skull members. While the Grunt and Plumeria gained a silhouette for a second, Gladion emitted a shockwave.
Who else have we seen emit a shockwave right before they engage the PC in a battle? Hau.
Gladion really is looking like the second rival.

So, what? He's hinting that mega evolutions will be renamed to Z-forms? Huh, okay.

@Meowpheel: You're also forgetting Cousin Joy, Aunt Joy, Grandma Joy, and Nurse Joy, Jr. And don't get me started on Officer Jenny....

I wonder what type Oak's Alolan form is? I'm betting psychic. "NAME, this isn't the time to use that!"
