Well, cousins in the pokemon universe do tend to be identical.

It literally is Alolan Oak! What!? What is this game? What the #@$*& is this game!?!

I noticed right away that Alolan form Oak's surname was identical (Ōkido).

What's even funnier is that Alolan Oak is talking about "リージョンフォーム" (rījonfōmu) [Region Form]. Perhaps he's introducing himself. =P

Love the New Oak! Will be interesting to see what role he plays in the games

Full trailer. Rather predictably (given what we know), Oak's spoken dialogue reads, "I'm a Pokémon researcher studying Region Formes". And you'll be pleased to hear that the next guy in the trailer triumphantly declares, "The power of science is AMAZING!".

So yeah, that guy is back in some form, along with Oak. It wouldn't be Pokemon without that guy.

There's a bit more filler, but it's astonishingly detailed compared to the one we got. I might go through it a bit more meticulously later. Thanks for brining it to my attention.

man they are giving us a lot of information. the game is only two months away. You would think that they want to leave some things for us to find out in the game. I think after the next info dump, I am going to stay away from any more news about Pokemon and stop going on serebii and this forum so I can be surprised about a few things in these games.

@MegaBeedrill we have no reason to believe there'll only be 1 trial per island, in fact judging by the trailers and screenshots we have reason to believe that three of the revealed trial captains appear on the island with the volcano.

Well, at least is not like the anime with Nurse Joy, Nurse Joy, Nurse Joy, Nurse Joy, Nurse Joy, the Joy Sisters (who are nurses), Nurse Joy, Joy the Nurse, Nurse Joy, Nurse Joy, Nurse Joy, Nurse Joy, Action Nurse Joy, Nurse Joy, and the favorite of everyone, Nurse Joy.
