@Bolt_Strike Because we already know about Z-moves; That's not a hint/leak. Maybe he hints at no mega evolutions this time, but Z-moves only? I don't know. Either Z-forms are a thing, or mega evolutions won't make a come back. That would be my guess.
@Maxz Problem with the source is that the leaker is Chinese, and he posts in Chinese. That isn't a problem when you have Google translate, but trying to navigate Chinese forums is virtually impossible.
He posts his stuff often on tieba.baidu, but it's often through people that can translate Chinese that we know these leaks in the first place. I found a recent ''compilation'' from the same person that translated the famous Chinese leaks: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lkdr5agBghY. Although, this ''ultimate compilation'' doesn't contain everything, as even she has trouble locating the sources. Lastly, some folks at the Bulbagarden forums are doing a decent job of keeping track of as many leaks and rumours as possible, you can find that here.
Not trying to pass anything off as a fact, but he has been consistently right ever since he started leaking earlier this year in February. Just something to keep in mind if you're interested in the rumours.
@MegaBeedrill I'm thinking these people may be a part of the Chinese localisation team.
So, CoroCoro leaks may happen as early as today, although tomorrow or Monday are more likely. It'll probably reveal Rockruff's evolution and/or method of evolving. That means we can rule out a bunch of leaks, as they all mention different things regarding Rockruff's evolution. So that's something to look forward to.
Also, the water type Arcanine seems to be fake, as the Japanese Pokemon site confirmed regular Arcanine to be one of the returning Pokemon in the game (no Alolan form). Kinda puts a damper on Artleaka's leak. That's unfortunate, cause I would've loved a Alolan Morelull-infected Paras and Parasect. I don't know, from what we know it seems that a lot of leaks got the Alolan stuff wrong, despite the fact that some got other stuff right. Maybe they got their stuff from different sources as well.
edit: So a guy that works on the manga, shared this on Twitter:
Maybe Rockruff's evolution will depend on the Z-crystal it is holding? It looks like the diamond-shaped rock is replaced by a Z-crystal (they are similar in shape too..).
According to Serebii, it says to check Tuesdays update for big news. So it looks like we will learn about Rockruff on Tuesday. Unless they are talking about the news coming on the 14th.
Want: Harvest Moon: One World, Story of Seasons: Pioneering Town, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury
Finished the Alola Dex.
Now playing New Horizons, Wrath of White Witch and Sword
@Pokefanmum82 Yup, that's the new wave of news (probably another trailer). Not sure if that's the same stuff that'll be in CoroCoro or not, but there will probably be some overlap. Most likely scenario? We'll get the Japanese leaks by tomorrow or Monday and we'll get the English info on Tuesday in the trailer.
The "be sure to check Tuesday's update for big news" is referring to last week's update on the 6th. A notification for those people that live under a rock and missed the news.

@Octane Ehhh.... I doubt it. I dunno, the purple diamond on Rockruff in that pic doesn't look like a Z Crystal to me. The Z Crystal the boy has on is longer, thinner, and has a sharper shape.
As to what the diamond on Rockruff's collar is, I have no idea. Maybe it's purely decoration to separate it from a normal Rockruff.
I guess I'll treat this as possible spoilers for the upcoming CoroCoro leaks. Note: This are not confirmed, these are rumours about a leak. It's starting to sound more ridiculous by the day..
An anonymous poster on 2ch claims to have seen the October issue of CoroCoro, a Japanese comic magazine, and says that the latest issue shows Alolan Ekans and Arbok. They’ve given a few details about it and here are the translations:
Alolan Ekans & Arbok are Fighting-type
Their abilities are Fighter Skin, which makes Normal-type moves Fighting and increases their power by 30% (ala Pixilate, etc), and Shed Skin
Alolan Arbok is light brown and bigger in size than its normal counterpart, but lacks any pattern on its body
It is a Pokémon Sun exclusive and the CoroCoro issue also reveals that Alolan Sandslash is a Moon exclusive
UPDATE:
Adding in other rumors from 2ch, newest rumors will be added to the bottom. The Alolan Electabuzz & Magmar rumor was preceded by a typo so I think I consider this much shakier than the above Arbok rumor. It would also leave questions regarding their evolutions as well.
Alolan Electabuzz revealed, new form looks similar to the pudgy Shinto god Ebisu
Brought electricity to Alola and is seen as a guardian-type figure
Electric/Fairy-type
Has the abilities Friend Guard/Healer
Alolan Magmar
It walks on all fours and is covered in vines; covered itself in vegetation as a way to survive in the jungles of Alola
Fire/Grass-type
New ability that reduces the effectiveness of its opponents attack when it switches to a teammate in battle (teammate will take less damage when it switches in)
Furthermore, one of the posters has promised to post pictures of the issue tomorrow at 7PM Japan Standard Time.
@Octane That's cool. I bet those are fake, though. Not only would they have to Alolaify the fourth gen evolutions of Electabuzz and Magmar, but I don't think they'll make yet another straight fighting type pokemon. Mostly though I'm damn sure that the Ninetails and Sandslash lines are version-exclusive opposites of each other, because there's literally only one snowy area in the entire map. A fire / grass type would be dope, though. I just wouldn't want it to look like Magmar...
