A couple of extra advices for getting 530 coins in the Meowth stage:
1.- Keep an eye on the hit points meter. Meowth requires 1160 points to be beaten, you have 8 moves, so it translates in about 150 hit points per move. Plan accordingly.
2.- If you are afraid of making any unwanted cascade combos, go for match-ups in the top part of the playing field, so the chances of triggering 2 or more combos is greatly diminished. Still, keep an eye on the HP remaining as well as on pairs of Pokemons that could be accidentally triggered.
@Klimbatize: Hi. I'm heading to the 100 level for Drakrai, but it seems that my Pokemon won't cut mustard (I'm finishing levels with 2-3 moves left, only). I'm using Mega Lucario (maxed), Xerneas and Scyther (max on a 3DS, level 9 on other 2) and Heracross (level 9 on all systems). I don't have Genesect (where can I get it). I heard people using M-Aero and Volcarona, but M-Aero is just too weak too consider, IMHO. Any thoughts?
Wow. Lots of passwords. This'll really help with some of the harder stages, and my slowly depleting coin level. Thanks for the heads up. With the new stages, as all of them (Barring Gothorita and Vivillion) are easily beaten with no items, you can just save up for one great ball, and quickly home button and quit if it fails. I've managed to catch all except Goth and Viv this way, with minimal fuss, some with great ball, some without. I've given up on Viv, as it managed to escape from three great balls, so I'm back to catching the Kalos fully evolveds. Joy oh joy...
@sykotek: Thanks, I thought something was up when I S ranked a stage and my score was lower. Now it all makes sense.......ok not really but I'm learning.

LOL. Yeah, I didn't know the S rank thing until I had already beaten like 150 levels. So many coins, and so much time, could have been saved by simply buying extra turns. Yes, so you know, +5 moves (or +seconds) work towards your S ranks.
EDIT: Those codes helped. I have now caught every available Pokemon, and S-ranked all stages (main and expert).
I've never actually tried it. I only just found out about it. I assume he means the coins wasted using Great Balls. If you spend 2500 (or more) on great balls and still don't catch the Pokemon, you can shut the game off because it hasn't saved while in the middle of a stage. You would get those coins back. If you buy powerups before a match though, the game does save before going into the stage, so those coins (and the heart) are going to be gone for good.
@Spoony_Tech:
What I really hate is making a 20+ combo at the end of the stage, and the points don't count toward the ranking. That has happened quite a few times.
Yeah, points are meaningless in solo stages. It would make more sense for points to determine ranks, rather than turns left, especially since you get a turn bonus.
A person without a sense of humor is like a wagon without springs. It's jolted by every pebble on the road.
Agreed. They've tightened up on the timing for great balls, but it's still pretty easy to do, and useful for the latest stages, which are relatively easy, but have low catch rates. You essentially only use the greatball only when you need it. It's also useful if you've paid coins, and have then bought multiple greatballs, because it might save you a bit of coins. I finally have Delphox, just have the other two to go. Then I'll S rank the stages pre Mega Heracross, to allow me to catch up a little. There's no respite...
Only had one shot at catching Vivillon, lucked out and caught him, I'm officially broke. I had beat the stage once before, but my game froze and reset, so I lost out on the money I already spent and a heart. Only A-Ranked it too, bummer. Time to farm Meowth.

@TheXReturns: I've been pretty lucky with the main stages this time around. I S-Ranked all the main stages on my first try except it took me a few times with Spewpa to even win and I had that glitch with Vivillon. All my catches were activated Super Catch and the one time I wouldn't be able to afford it, I caught Vivillon anyway. Just gotta make some money and go back and S-Rank it before going on to the new EX stages. What team did you use for Vivillon?
I'm currently also debating whether I want to really try at the new competition. On the one hand, I could possibly get another Mega Speedup, but I might be depriving someone of a Mega stone. I'm not sure I really want to do that, even for a Mega Speedup. Decisions decisions.

I missed this stone last time around because my 3ds was getting repaired. I'm not worried about the stone though but I do want to gun for that Mega speed up of which I doubt I'll get. Top 2000k is ridiculous.
