I'd also give it a high 8 at the moment, but I'm only finishing the 3rd restaurant.
It's got nice graphics, a great sense of humor with plenty of dialogue, a fair amount of restaurants and mini-games, and is pretty deep overall, but the lack of a difficulty option means that this is going to be pretty short (First-time players will make it through 4-8 hours), and there are some framerate issues. However, unlike the iPhone version, it doesn't get repetitive for too long, so perhaps the shorter time is a bit of a blessing.

Also, yeah, if you're easily offended, this game is chockful of stereotypes, such as the Asian market owner with the accent and the Hispanic customer with a taste for spicy food.

Agreed on that count, but they're pretty tame. A good barometer for this might be the Punch-Out series. If you made it through any of those games without feeling particularly offended, Order Up probably won't get to you either.

Expect the review very soon.

Eh,punch out was not offesive in any way, but I found the fighter who spoke my languaje to be very annoying after a while...
So about this game, how's it compared to the demo?

lol, NO COMPARISON,

Demo: Absolutely freaking absymal, Repetitive, lacking core game element, and failure to show off how the game works (feels like a crappy Cooking Mama (yes, crappier then that))

Game: Well-made, notes of polish, great humor, engaging gameplay, lots of dialogue, etc; Very solid way to spend $10

I had high hopes for this game, and it greatly exceeded my expectations. The only bad things are a few bugs and long loading times. Besides that, it's excellent for $10.

Can anybody help me out with the food critic on El Fuego? ! I've done his food about 15 times now and I can't please him for nothing!

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
