look at yummy yummy cooking jam,now there might be extra stuff in the full version of order up,but even this dsi ware is better,4 different kinds of resturants, different kinds of charaters like vampires/mobsters/ninjas/aliens,adjust the heating to the stoves/frying machines, give people menus and take tips

The demo doesn't do too much justice, there is more than flipping burgers and filling drinks as shown in the demo. You also become the waiter and build a cooking joint, like your own, a feature similar to Diner Dash.

No, same here.. If it ever comes to Europe digital wise, that it. It is supposed to be out here at retail, but I've never seen a single copy... For $10 this is a steal!

I for one enjoyed what there was of the demo. What they displayed was the core element. Its how you earn your money. How you spend that money is where the fun begins. Plenty of content here for 10$ This was definitely a full retail release. I'm about 2 hours in and having lots of fun.

The demo makes you feel like you're going to work for somebody where reality is you open up your own restaurant almost first thing. You can hire multiple different assistant chefs. Some unlock later in the game. You can upgrade your restaurant and there seems to be more then one. You can upgrade the menu as well as add spices. All which cost money you need to earn every day. The multi tasking does take a lot of getting use to. So much more to this then that very short demo.

Nope, I instantly grabbed it too!

Of course, I'm writing the review, but still...a full-length retail game coming to the eShop for $10? That's something I want to support, review or no review.

This will definitly be one of the better games you get to review!

I quite enjoyed the demo for this game, despite it not having an extensive amount of content, and I'm glad I trusted my instincts! Bought it earlier, download took a while because it's huge. It finished about an hour and a half ago: I meant to just quickly try out the game and ended up playing for 90 minutes before finally tearing myself away from it to write this post and go get a shower! In other words, it's AWESOME! A lot of fun. If you're not 100% sure, wait for the review to get a more detailed look at everything the game has going on, as all I can say about it for now is that it's a lot of fun

Bought it, ignoring the demo.

And, as I said about the earlier versions, this game is EASILY one of the highest-quality games on the service. It's deep (for a cooking game), has a good amount of content, has a nice graphical style and (by far the best thing) has a great sense of humor. Even if you're not a fan of cooking games, I can recommend this to anyone. $10 is actually a great price for this, I'd say $12-15 would be worth it.

However, note that A LOT of the humor is based off of stereotypes (some of which are racial). If you are easily offended, you should stay away.

I also bought this on faith that the demo didn't do it justice and buy am I glad I did! I've only played for about 2 hours but its very apparent that there is a lot of depth here. I absolutely love the dialoge aqnd the gameplay is really fun as well. Its very obvious that this was previously a retail release and I hope it finds great sales on the eShop!

Glad to see people enjoying this one after being underwhelmed by the demo. All of the original feedback had me wondering if I was crazy for liking it. It's a lot of fun, and there's loads of content. I'll have a lot more to say in the review, but I want to get a lot more playtime in first. Suffice it to say for now that I'm enjoying it.

I think the only major issue I'm having is the sound: does anybody else find the game is just far too quiet? Has anybody else been having this problem / find any sort of solution? Otherwise I'm really impressed. I've already played for almost 2 hours and I'm only on the second restaurant and loving every minute of it! Not just that, but it has the kind of gameplay that in the future I could easily find myself coming back to play a quick round of dinner even if I beat everything. It's a very nice mix of addictive gameplay with lots of content while still being a "pick up and play" sort of game. Very pleased with this purchase!

ALSO: I know what the customer picks is random, but a lot of the spices the customers want on their meals is making me wonder if any of this would be worth trying! Cinnamon in tacos? Brown sugar in mac and cheese? It's sounds just crazy enough to try! I'm starting to think I need to have an "Order Up!!" dinner .

I did, but then I found that you can adjust the music / sfx / voice volume through one of the menus in-game. That helped me, if you haven't done that!

I did! It helped with a lot of the sounds but the voices are still VERY quiet. For the most part not a big deal except when you're trying to hear a customer's preferences and don't want to spend COIN to figure out the specifics .

The only other game in the shop that has this much content would have to be Dillon's Rolling Western. Lots of fun to be had here people. If you are even in the slightest bit interested you shouldn't be disappointed!

Quick Play does include other restaurants, but the only one where the experience is truly different is Burger Face (see the demo).

Like I said before, this game is easily worth $10, but I do have one complaint: IT'S TOO EASY.

The iPhone version deliberately made the game as lengthy as possible, as part of the whole "freemium" scam to make money from the lazier players.
The Wii version includes a Hard mode.
Unless it's an unlockable, then this game has only one difficulty option with VERY easy requirements, although my past experience with the game in other forms may affect my view.

I would have to go with an 8 so far. I haven't played as much as I want to but I can see that score going up and not down.
