Well, we've got the demo that came out in NA today, and the game will be $9.99 whenever it's released.

Personally, I'm not too enamored of this one. The 3D adds nothing (but I've grown used to that), when you are multitasking between various stations it can be hard to get back to a particular station (i.e. when you're filling up multiple drinks), and the game overall just feels dull and not fun. Also, the quick-play mode included in the demo feels surprisingly full featured. I'm sure there will be a more fleshed out Story mode within the full title (as I can't imagine the entire game taking place in a fast-food joint), but it seems fairly "complete" as it is.

Exactly.

Worst demo so far. Working at an actual fast food restaurant would be more fun and you'd get paid for it. The interface is terrible.

It was actually quite fun, specially when you had to take care of multiple things at the same time.

Not something I would buy, but fun.

Played the demo. Felt it was shovelware. Expensive shovelware for $10, at that.

Wow, this demo was absolutely ATROCIOUS. Bland gameplay, little dialogue, and a very shallow experience.

Shame, as the actual game (at least on the 2 consoles I've played it on) is MUCH MUCH better.

The demo omits dialogue, save a few nearly-humorless lines in the tutorial, which is disgraceful, as one of the best points of the game is the humor. Secondly, the gameplay example was atrocious. Burger Face was an awful choice, even if it's the first place. They should've added Gravy Chug, or Quick Play similar to the Wii version. Thirdly, I noticed some minor framerate issues.

Please don't judge the game off of this demo. Unless the 3DSWare version SUCKS compared to iPhone/Wii, then this is a much better, deeper game.

This is a signature.

Seeing as how it's impossible for an iPhone to have the superior version of any game that's also on a gaming device, I'm guessing this'll end up better than the iOS version at least.

Guys, I don't think you can expect a demo to feature a stoyline and stuff.. it's just a quick impression, and for $10 this isn't so bad.. it went for $35 here.. couldn't find it ANYWHERE..

I do hope it will be released on the EU e-shop too..

I told you it will be no more than $10 which is the most I would have paid for it

I enjoyed the demo it was fun and I was following this game for some time, but the thing that might make me skip it was the controls, sometimes moving around the counters was a tedious task and sometimes the game would freeze and I couldn't move around ended up burning a couple of beef patties.
my initial impressions though are that it is a fun game that could be addicting if the full version somehow has better controls to move around the kitchen.

I played it for a while last night. It wasn't great but wasn't wonderful either. I'll go back to playing Pushmo and read some reviews after the release.

Three words to counter that: Cut the Rope. There is no way the DSiWare version of that is better than the iOS one.

I'm surprised people dislike this so much! It's a nice simple game that I think is a lot of fun. The only real problem is that navigating the counters is a bit difficult. But really, the game is a lot of fun, and I don't really know what some of you were expecting? It's a demo of a game that is really based around a simple concept - there isn't going to be some epic plot. Sounds to me like y'all just love to complain

look at yummy yummy cooking jam,now there might be extra stuff in the full version of order up,but even this dsi ware is better,4 different kinds of resturants, different kinds of charaters like vampires/mobsters/ninjas/aliens,adjust the heating to the stoves/frying machines, give people menus and take tips

Well some of the "tips" that come up while you're playing seem to indicate that there will be more cooky features in the full version: one hint that came up mentioned a vampire who hates garlic. So I'm sure there will be more fun features: my point was that the game is just a demo. You can't compare a demo to a full game release.

Having said tht, that DSiWare game looks fun! I need to look into that, I've never heard of it.

ZeekyInc

Totally addicted to the iOS version.. So what happened? And for 10 bucks? I was looking forward to this and I was let down.

ZeekyInc

But I'll put the demo thoughts aside for now and wait for the full release and some reviews.. But seriously, i don't think this game is worth 10 bucks. I'd pay at least 6 or 7 for this.

I heard great things from my friends about this on iOS. I'm going to instantly buy this once it's out.

It looks like you're assuming the demo shows everything about the game.
