The first issue I have with the game is that it requires the internet to play it. Granted, the way this game plays makes it forgiving but because I don't have good internet ( And my place in general has POOR internet!) I feel that we can like first get the badges and then download them....kinda like how Rusty's real deal baseball did.
The second issue I have is the price....one dollar to get badges that you may or may not want? Now it is forgiving but I recall that you like pay about a quarter per try which can make sense as five tries make a dollar but....idk. Perhaps I got so used to how Rusty handled Free to start.
But to be clear here, just what is the difference between this one and the usual way of buying themes?

The only huge difference is that the Badge themes don't seem to come with unique music. You may say this is a rip-off, but you have to remember that they want to encourage people to buy some plays without making people upset by locking cool exclusive themes to the Badge arcade. It's pretty much one of those promotions you would see in stores where it's all "Buy 2 and get the next one free!"
This is a fun little addition. I like that you can put the badges on the folders, so now instead of just a "G" for Gameboy, it's an actual Gameboy. Yay. They have SNES badges too, so I assume every console will eventually get one. I'd like an NES, GBA, DSi, and 3DS badge for my folders. Most of the stuff I don't care too much about, but I'll check in every day for a couple of minutes to use my free plays.
A person without a sense of humor is like a wagon without springs. It's jolted by every pebble on the road.
I'll prob try to get as many free badges as I can and only splurge on plays when a really good theme comes out, though it is saddening to know it has no music D:
It resets at 4 AM for me, so perhaps the reset occurs at 2 AM Pacific Time? I suppose it makes sense.
Formally called brewsky before becoming the lovable, adorable Yoshi.
