Topic: Nintendo Badge Arcade

Anyways, I now have 8 badges. I won 3 in the first 5 plays and then won 5 more after I won a 3-play chance playing Practice Catcher. Problem is, I don't know where to put them. X( Oh, and how do I get to the Theme Shop? The rabbit keeps telling me about that special offer...

It's only available in NA. Europeans got an announcement today, apparently North Americans got the game today!

I wish the five daily free tries were for the main machine, but I guess wining tries in the practice machine is kinda fun too.

You must first spend the amount of money the game tells you, then you pick up the theme there.

My current layout with the badges.

Retail games, 3DS ware, Arcade Madness, DSi Ware, VC, ETC for those wondering, tried to get a Famicom butt couldn't get it, at least I got a theme from it all, other then that I would have to wait to get badges to make more sense to go over the folders, or does it make sense now? that's up for anyone opinion.

You got me Nintendo. Got four of the 8-bit Mario badges on the free play, and my broke ass just had to spend $1 to get the complete Game Boy set.

Anyone know what the special theme currently on offer is?

@VelvetElvis: It's a Link between worlds one, it's exclusive however, it's not like the one you can already buy.

Played the training and won myself 3 more tries...then I paid for more tries...I got my famicom and more badges however that is it for now since I got what I wanted...just as bad as gambling =w=, will keep playing daily just to see if I get more tries though.

Also got both gameboy and Famicom sets completed!

I got enough tries to get the theme and some matching badges.

I will limit my purchases to get only the themes I want, other than that... Only free tries for me.

Overall, I've gotta admit that this'll keep me coming back for the chance at free plays and to drop the occasional buck or two. And as others have said, be sure to play the training game — netted myself the complete Super Famicom set from the three free plays I won there tonight.

Just for the record, that one is not the Zelda theme.

It looks like a gray brick wall with green buttons and an opening on the top screen that shows the master sword in the Lost Woods.

@Morpheel: Already said that xP I was worried for a sec at first because I was hoping that it wasn't the theme I already had because the share almost the same icons but nope, something new.

Does the Japanese version have more badges? I noticed it said version 1.3.

How many badges to people have? I got about 38 currently I think.

Just downloaded the game, and it definitely has potential. I don't think I'll ever use real money on the game, the training crane is good enough for me to win free plays! Luckily, with the free plays, I got the Luigi stamp I wanted. I hope those Splatoon ones get released soon!

Quick question: Does anyone know if you can save a badge layout for a specific theme? For example, I have a Luigi and Sonic theme. I want to put my new Luigi badge in the Luigi theme, but I don't want it to appear on the Sonic one when if shuffles. (I actually have ten themes I shuffle through, just having the example with two themes to make it easier). I know there is a save layout option, and I tried that with the Luigi one, but when the theme switches, the Luigi badge is still there. Am I going to have to live with Luigi on all my themes, or is there a way to fix this? Thanks in advance.

So there will only be 1 theme available each week? Still pretty scary how quickly that could add up if you buy 10 plays each week to get it. Not going to get this one as I already have the regular Link Between Worlds theme which I was disappointed with, and this one looks even worse in terms of just being a lot of wall. If it's true these themes have no corresponding music, then it might be a waste of money to buy the plays to get them rather than just buying actual themes with good music and taking your sweet time to earn free plays to get the badges for free eventually.

I prefer the hammer over the crane since it's much easier to get badges with it, though I still had to use 5 tries just to get Link lol.
