Dunno about all of ye, butt I got a shipment of Splatoon badges, managed to get 2 free plays and got 4 squids out of it, playing practice I managed to get all of the badges...then another lot came, wonder if there was a special one in one of those because I didn't get a special one from the first lot.
I won two tries at the practice machine and managed to complete the Mario & Friends set (the one with the Bowser background). I'll try to get the one with Yoshi tomorrow.
And yeah, I noticed that when you get a lot of badges in practice, it's less likely to contain special bonuses. Seems a bit mean.
Haven't decided if I should buy some plays yet. They cost $1.46 for 5 plays here, which is a tad more than I'd like. $1 would've been fine :/ I'd like to get that Bowser though :/
Well for the most part, even the folders is grey as brick, butt there is the master sword and drawn Link with some green buttons thrown in still seems like a ok bonus if you wanted some tries for badges.

Today, I got 1 free play on one 3DS just for clearing 10, and 3 on the other for clearing 20 and getting 1 blue bonus piece, so I don't know if it's totally rigged against you for doing well, but I have a feeling it won't be as easy to get those red bonus pieces as it was on the first day. If it's rigged to tend to give you a bonus piece when you fail to clear 10 that would be nice though so you don't walk away with nothing.
I finally got the Bowser badge I wanted with the free plays I've earned today, and today's the last day too! Karma is with me. The badge is smaller than I thought though.
Tried it out and got all the tutorial Mario badges. I would've liked to use those two tries I had left to earn more but oh well... Earned couple more tries through practice but I was too greedy and used the first one on the crane machine which had those Mario icons that take you to the Activity Log, Mii Plaza, etc. I guess there were two of them in one big block and I failed to get it. Kind of knew I'd fail. Then I used the second one trying to get Marina from Animal Crossing (my favorite neighbor when I played New Leaf) but the crane hit another badge next to her and because of that I was left empty handed. I'll probably play every day until I finally get bored of it. I might spend some money when they have great themes on offer. I've been buying home themes before so now I get a theme and some extra badges for the same amount of money.
It's its, not it's.

I don't want to spend money on this but that rabbit is so hilarious he's pulling me in
LOL same here! He almost convinced me to drop a dollar for 5 plays this morning! It's only a matter of time (plus, I need the retro system badges as well as the Splatoon badges)...
God first.

My first draft - don't have much to work with, having only 18 badges so far. I spent some of my account balance on 5 (and only 5) tries. The rabbit makes a good arguement - I do want to support the app, but I could probably manage without multiple tries a day from here on out. It's going to take a while though.
Something I'd like to see is a way to apply certain badge configurations to specific backgrounds - especially ones that are on shuffle.
Even though my Home Menu is so crowded with software there is barely any room left for badges, I still think Nintendo got me. I thought I could ignore this, but as soon as I saw the Daisy pin, I just had to get it (got it ). I almost went and bought an eShop card today (both for this and so I have a little more on hand), but I decided to hold off because some retailers now give you a free Photos with Mario download code and AR card with your eShop card, but none of the retailers near me do. Probably going to have to skip that PwM promotion though, so I may pick up another card today or tomorrow.
I have one problem though. I already made a seperate forum post for that, but I decided to ask here too, simply to get other people's views. My badges are glitched. I can place them just fine (with one exception, but that seemed to have been resolved after rebooting my system a few times), but the problem is the description. Instead of a description appearing below the badge when selected, I get some long name that looks like the filename within the game resource files.
Nothing major, in fact I think it's kind of funny. It doesn't look like it's doing any damage other than looking funny, and people told me I can fix it by deleting the extra data for Nintendo Badge Arcade in the system settings (though I don't think I will, because again, it looks kind of funny), but I just wanted to know if anyone else has had a problem like this. Does anyone recognise this?
Well I feel a little silly... I used up a free play today on the ALBW painting-style icons for the 3DS software icons, like the eShop for example. For some reason I thought I could replace the icons with these on my home menu, but I guess they're just normal stickers like the rest... Kinda disappointing cause those painting icons would match the ALBW theme it gave me yesterday.
