@Burning_Spear To my knowledge, there are several that cannot be completed, due to the fact that they flood several screens.

Ok so I have all star coins but 3, but if I collect all 3 I only get up to 9 total after spending them all, did I miss something because I currently hav found all exits and spent all coins so far, is there a secret mushroom house you need to spend coins on?

Once you get all the star coins an extra hut will open up in the Star World costing 9 star coins.

Thanks, friend. I'm stuck on a particularly difficult one and don't want to waste time if there are some that simply aren't possible.

@BurningSpear No Problem. I've also found that, (believe it or not) mini Mario can actually make some of the ones with crazy jumps easier.

Only 10 billion coins in the Americas vs 93 billion worldwide seems kind of disappointing. It seems like barely anyone I know actually bought the game for some strange reason, so maybe it's not selling as well here.

We got the game a few weeks later than the rest of the world, and at a time when I would imagine a lot of people were enjoying their last week of summer before returning to school.

I've got above 200,000 coins. But, for the milestone image:

Nintendo insist on a local-player experience whenever possible, unless the game is competitive.
How many Nintendo games are there that have online co-op in a game that features co-op over competitive play? I can't think of any right now.

Speaking of irritating design decisions, my coin rush record would be 51,180 were it not for that pesky 30,000 cap.

Why would you put a LIMIT on a score attack mode?!

@RupeeClock I believe most of the replayibility for most people stems from the 1million coins. If you got them that fast, the game would be over pretty quick!

Even so, the true goal is actually 9,999,999 coins.
Reaching a million still takes time and effort, 30k still makes that goal reasonably quick to reach.

But that goal will come and go, I want to actually focus on getting the best possible record, but the 30k limit won't let me record something mindblowing.

RupeeClock, what are your three stages? You may have the same as me.

Yeah, curious about your stages. I use 2-4, 1-2, and Mushroom-Castle, but I never go over 30,000 by much. I don't even get the point of the cap, because even if you manage to tie a 30,000 record it doesn't give you credit for beating it, so it's not like they put it in there to prevent people from getting records they couldn't beat. It actually makes it impossible to beat those records is what it does, which just removes any motivation to try to beat those records then.

I got LUCKY today on coin rush. Streetpassed a GS demo unit and the record for mushroom pack was 1,500.

The levels were 2-4, 2-1, And fort-1.

2-4 Has a hidden Golden flower in a block, so I got that and got 1,000 coins.
2-1 Has a natural Gold flower. Got 500 coins from that.
I used the stored gold flower on the fort, and got 200 coins from the fort. (There weren't much blocks there)

My record? A whooping 3,500 coins. Quite a lot considering the levels I did.
