Topic: New Super Mario Bros 2

My stages are Mushroom-1, 1-2 and Mushroom-Castle.

You can do the 1up trick on Mushroom-1 four times in a row for an amazing amount of coins, done right I can get 5000+ coins and another Gold Flower for the next level.

World 1-2 also has a very lucrative area with mass respawning Koopa Troopas, done right there's about 7-8 in range of a Gold fireball's blast, for about 5+10+15+20+50+50+50+50 coins.
Grabbing a Mega Mushroom is the only thing in the game that'll put Gold mario's Gold Flower back into a stored item slot, which lets me use a Gold Flower on the third stage too.

"To celebrate we are rewarding you..."
Me: eyes widen Yay!
"...by reopening all of the red mushroom houses!"

EDIT: In other news, I for some odd reason liked Mushroom - B, just finished this level. xD

Nearly on 400,000 coins.
That's just pennies compared to what I own a year.

@Erica_Hartmann - Additionally, the rainbow courses for each world world are open. idk if that's just for those of us who've already beaten World 6 (since all Mushroom houses are permanently unlocked for us already) or not, but it may be something to look into.

None of the rainbow courses are unlocked here. :c

Since when are mushroom house permanently open? I beat world 6 already but mine aren't like that.

Never heard permanently (man I hate spelling that word, lol) it just told me they were reopened.
Anyways Emaan, I think somewhere in options you have to have SpotPass active on this game.

I heard it was 5 shiny stars to get the rainbows from the SpotPass, but I used one and they aren't permanent, so it was kind of a pointless gift.

my best coin collection highscore in coin rush is 6490 as racoon Mario in level 6-4, star-3 and castle level with the blue hair guy and i admit that getting the amount of coins i stated was stretching it for me because i only happen to find all the hidden gold mushrooms fast enough before the end level so tell me how the heck you people are going over 10 000 in coin rush mode lol

so far my score of coins collected total is : 655511

Does this game feature more levels after the initial map at the bottom (like SML3D)?

If not, hot damn this game looks like it's gonna be short.

Not really, there's 6 main worlds and 3 optional worlds...There's a crapload of secret exits though, and the Star coins are cleverly hidden for the most part too.

Super Mario Land 3D had 241 levels (which were longer, since they were 3D) and Star Coins as well. Nothing in the way of extras, though.

True, but this games has about as much content as any 2D Mario before it.

This game has TONS of replay value! At least for me. I beat the game quite a while ago, and I'm still playing it.

-Getting all the Star Coins
-1 Million Coins
-Secret Exits
-Get to Flower World
-All 5 Profile Stars

When I go on a 3 hour road trip to see my to-be-born nephew at the end of the month, I'm finally going to go beyond beating Bowser. For some reason I don't use my 3DS much while in the house, and I'm in the house 99% of the time... Yeah, bad combination.

One or two of the hidden exits are gonna drive you nuts.

just got a million coins that was easy enough repeating 8400 something coins then retrying the same levels over and over again
