Topic: Monster Hunter Generations (Our Toothy Lord and Savior)

I'd love to know who thought it was a good idea to make a quest to slay 50 Bnahabra. Those sorts of quests are just repetitive and tedious and not fun to do.

I'm stoked to hear that Akantor armour is still great, the high rank version is my favourite design in 4U and the one I have on my card. He's also real fun to fight (not like his stupid ice-swimming cousin), although nobody I've ever fought with against him seems to know about the sonic bomb-in-the-hole trick...

Garuga's armour is fine and all, but who the heck wants to farm him anyway? I just went with Najarala for earplugs and cap rewards, then Glavenus for fencing and polishing, good for bashing hard parts (with gemmed in speed sharpening).

I can see how the deviant Glavenus's look really awesome on paper, and probably would have been in any other game, but in Gen for a lot of weapons all those sharpness skills are overkill, and far less necessary with the onset of Bludgeoner.

The deviant sets I plan to make at the moment are Dreadqueen for status and Silverwind for non-adept weapon usage, except for Lance in order to have the best of both evade and guard lancing worlds.

One question, though... do these R hyper armour sets look like G-Rank versions in past games, or something else entirely? Personally, I find that the female Gypceros armour doesn't look bad at all. Kind of cute, actually.

Hopefully you're not too OP for HR3 quests, but either way it's only one rank until HR4 so, guess it doesn't matter

Just think of these quests as the "all-you-can-eat bug part buffet". Leave via subquest (which is usually a more reasonable amount) when you're done, or get people to help do it faster.

No longer am I in LoRank armor fresh out of HR2. Got HiRank armor set, uograded weapon and defense, and HR6 which pretty much opens up any monster for the taking.

Ya, we ran through like half the mandated online portion of the game in one fail swoop.

So who's in high rank? How far are you and all that, want to deal with some Deviant quests. At the very least the III ones. (though I think I can handle Redhelm's and Snowbaron's...)

I found a great group of random people during the weekend and we did the Metroid DLC quest....wow I totally love the Varia Suit armor! It looks so awesome! Skills are not that great (including slots) but I am using it to help a friend get through low rank. It looks amazing!

Makes me wonder...do we also get the Link outfit for hunters?

Funny story: when my HR broke in 4U, it was HR42.
When my HR broke in Generations, it was... HR42.

Well I try to do it at night, where I won't be interrupted as much by everyone. Kinda annoying when you're playing a game, getting all comfy then someone calls your name ten bazillion times. >.<
