You can add anyone in your room to your friend list right there in the camp.

There's an option in the menu.

Yup, went back with my Brachy Gunlance and managed to take Nakarkos down. Didn't even need the Insurance that I got that time, only carted once. owo

Also, I dunno why I freaked out over his death animation, the quest was already completed. xD

....Huh, should've worked on High Rank Kirin's armor a lot sooner...didn't know it would be this easy to upgrade to a high defense. lol

This will make Nakarkos easier to deal with.

By gum, I've managed to create a set with both Sharpness+2 and Bludgeoner to draw out the full potential of Akantor's Severance and Dark Melody. Just had to replace the waist in my Arc set with the R version, and combined with Peak Performance brings my attack over 300.

I successfully defeated Nakarkos solo first time and ranked up to HR53. It didn't feel too hard for me, but maybe that's because I'd previously done some HR7 Hyper monster quests to upgrade my armour. There was only 6 and a half minutes left on the clock, so I was getting worried towards the end.

@crimsontadpoles Congrats! Now everything is open for you. ^_^

@crimsontadpoles Pretty much normal for me if I use an elemental weapon...it does seem like he's weakest to Blast though. Especially during the first phase when you can take his tentacles out and stun him.

@Joeynator3000 I do want its light bowgun, so maybe I'll try blast next time

Yeah, only problem for me is that I have to be aggressive during phase 2, especially when the cloud is gone from his face. And attacking the face is risky, especially when he goes into dragon mode...dunno what I was thinking during my recording, should've stayed on the side so I could escape easily.

I didn't think about attacking the face, and I only attacked the two head things instead. Maybe I can shave off a few minutes now.

I find it easier to attack his head during the second phase since his tentacles are all over the place. I just gotta attack the from the side next time to avoid that beam attack.
