I'll just call it "Nintendo Cross."

@Haru17 I wanted it to called that too, so that the next Smash Bros. would be called Cross, and use that as an excuse for guest appearances from Project X Zone and Monster Hunter X .

Joking dreams aside, if 5 does come to the switch, maybe 3DS would still get a Freedom version of said title. But for those clamoring over improved graphics... Frontier and the recent Online have kind of been doing just that.

Just FYI, it's already been "confirmed" that Monster Hunter 5 is a launch title for NX, whatever form that takes.

@DarthNocturnal Japan is the only place where it makes sense for Capcom to develop Monster Hunter games with cutting-edge graphics. Elsewhere, at least up until this point there simply hasn't been enough sales to warrant spending additional resources and money on better visuals.

Meh. Full armour upgrades seem a bit overrated to me in this game... hardly anything except maybe end-level Deviants warrants having that much defence. Though granted, the Mizuha set does have unusually low defence for it's rarity... Around 400 defence should be enough for even the "normal" endgame monsters.

@Tsurii Already do, mate. I want to punch the person who said Dreadking set is a "low-effort" set to use in this thread... not that I ever planned to make it, mind you. But with all the repeating you have to do for permits, materials frankly are the least of your concerns, especially since you can use regular parts as well.

You can always just reset the day if you feel you wasted materials.

And it's too early for a Stories G....MH5 for 3DS, dammit Capcom....

Why is everyone so darn certain a new game is going to be announced? It could just be additional DLC for Generations for all we know (and even if there is, that it's a japan direct means it's likely we won't get it for quite a while, if ever). The only thing we can extrapolate for sure is that it will have something to do with the mainstream series first and foremost.

@Joeynator3000 Why on earth would there be a G version of Stories? The game's packed full of subspecies as it is, and it's level-based progression doesn't exactly lend itself well to that kind of iteration.

You never know, even harder quests, Apex monsters, rare species (can't remember if they're already in or not, lol) Deviants, some new mechanic that makes people pull hair out of their head...you know, the usual. owo
