@Joeynator3000 Nobody in their right mind ever gets their hopes up for a videogame movie, to my knowledge.
I'm just hoping it doesn't harm the series in the west.
"There's a very fine line between not listening and not caring. I like to think I walk that line every day of my life." -Leonard Church Jr.
There's usually a guy (at times girl) wearing a bone armor somewhere in the intro/end videos. His only "major" role was in the intro for 3u I think.
The armor is so silly, I'd just love to see an unlucky extra having to wear it.
(Also being the best starter armor for hunting horn, I kind of have a soft spot for it)
The reason I have edited this post so much is because I spent the last forty minutes watching all the intro videos in the series. That was entertaining.
@Meowpheel I disagree. While it would be authentic, the sheer amount of hunting they'd have to compress between the encounter and the showdown (and also the FINAL final showdown) would just feel unsatisfying.
A much better Hollywood approach would be to simply follow a group of already-elite hunters (like the Ace Hunters), with maybe some flashbacks showcasing their rise. Another, unconventional method could be to split it between several groups, for a series of "shorts", minimizing downtime.
And about that bone armour guy... is it a running gag for him to always be trying to drink a cool drink, only to be interrupted?

Honestly I'd imagine it would be like, they already know the main culprit and they simply travel to it. Like, take Tri, they already know it's Ceadeus, but they have to go through most (if not all) of Tri's locations. From the D. Isle to the Volcano or something. And they'd either have to run from or take down any large monster they would encounter. I also imagined Qurupeco would be the comic relief monster. hunting team settles down for the night, everything seems fine, Qurupeco shows up from somewhere for the ten bazillionth time, calls Deviljho, everyone runs, lol
@Tsurii Been having a weird schedule and it might be like that for a month. Ohhh and DQ VII comes out tomorrow, but I will always be down for hunting if I see a post and I'm around ^^
@Joeynator3000 I'm pretty sure Qurupeco only calls bigger monsters when it's annoyed or threatened. Not doubting it's potential as a recurring nuisance, but I very much doubt a group of sleeping hunters is reason for alarm.

....Ok time to give Omega Ruby a break, taking a break from breeding/Dexnaving Pokemon which is very tedious. And what's better than doing tedious work in Pokemon?....Doing tedious work in MHGen. Deviant tiem! xD

Keep it PG-13-ish.
A Monster Hunter Movie huh? To be honest, considering how much I like MH, I should be excited, but I am really not that thrilled xD
There's a high chance they'll mess it up, monsters might not look a lot like their original counterparts (or some movie original), and the final boss monster will appear for 2 minutes before it dies. And they'll cover the origin story of some hunters -_-
Yea... I guess that's my daily dose of optimism ;p
Although I guess the main exciting thing would be hearing the trademark MH tune as they finally gain the upper hand against whatever Elder Dragon comes up against them in the finale. Or hopefully when they dragonate it xD
@Tsurii I keep getting off and on looking for a deadeye V hunt xD, I saw you guys where on and would join but I'm also working on a homies statistics homework lol
