I think it'd be better for Mario Kart if the handheld games were focused more on single player but still offered good online, and the home console games focused more on multiplayer but still offered good single player.
I personally would rather Mario Kart games just be on home systems, but I'm not going to not buy the handheld ones since they make them.
What a weird contradiction you are making. Why would you purchase a game that you would rather not exist? You're not required to buy it just because you're a Nintendo fan you know. I'm a pretty big Pokémon fan, but I didn't buy Rumble Blast. I just buy the games I want to play.

I'm just saying. If Nintendo all the sudden stopped making Mario Kart games for handhelds, it wouldn't be the end of the world for me. Yes actually I do feel required to buy it whenever a new Mario Kart game comes out because I love Mario Kart. In my experience though, I like the ones on the home systems better.
Wasn't a contradiction at all, a lot of Nintendo fans buy new games regardless because they love the series. Oh and saying you're a big Pokemon fan, but not buying Rumble Blast? Not a good comparison, considering there's plenty of Pokemon spinoffs that many fans choose not to buy.
@Emaan1 - That's fine, I'm not trying to bust your chops. I just thought it was weird the way you said it previously. And I know Rumble Blast was not a main series game, I was just trying to say just because something has the brand name on it, doesn't mean you have to buy it if you're a fan, just buy the stuff you want.

For sure, I had to get it too. I finally got three stars on all the tracks and I've recently been burning up the on-line competition. I like once you get a higher rating and you're playing others with higher ratings how you're not playing a bunch of Metal Marios and Shy Guys who select Maka Wuhu every single time!

Its all good, but I think most people can agree with me. If its a new Mario Kart, you just have to get it
.....but only because I enjoy the series and enjoy the portable games just as much. You can easily say to someone "you just have to play ___ " for if just about every Mario, Zelda or Metroid at launch and for years after but I don't think you can really say the same about Mario Kart. You buy the new Mario Kart because you want to play Mario Kart on your new system with all the new features of the hardware. I would not buy Mario Kart 7.2 but I wouldn't think about not getting Super Mario 3D Land 2.

An opinion is only respectable if it can be defended. Respect people, not opinions
To be honest at first I loved Mario Kart 7,but I go fed up because there wasn't a lot for the single Player.
Now I've gone back to it to play online, and I'm enjoying it. I also have a 2 star rank.
