Half the game is ace (flying bits). The other half is just OK (land based), but would have been great if the controls didn't suck! Honestly, to me, that half of the game is very nearly unplayable. I tried to love it, I really did, but I just couldn't. Shame.
I do however think that it would be great on the Switch with proper dual controls.
Still didn't beat Uprising.
I really love the Games Characters, Voice Acting, Graphics and Music, but the Controls are a huge pain in the neck for me. I still don't understand why this Game doesn't use the Circle Pad Pro. I once heard they made it the way it is because they didn't want the Game like a Third Person Shooter, but that's a really dumb reason in my opinion.
I just hope Kid Icarus Uprising gets a Console Port/Remake in the Future
I never got a chance play this game sadly, I bought it digitally and it was on my backlog to play eventually. However due to my 3DS getting stolen there's definitely not a chance I will be playing it. Hopefully they bring this game to Switch or even a sequel. From what I have seen in videos it does look interesting and I probably would have enjoyed it, it was just one of those games that got lost in my backlog. Every time I thought about playing it, I would end up getting distracted by other games.
Anyway anyone doing anything interesting for the 10th anniversary?? Replaying the game maybe?

@Tasuki Mainly because of the eShop going down soon, I've gotten a couple of 3DS games, some of them I've never played until now (Planet Robobot and the Bowser's Inside Story remake). I don't know why I sold this game back then when I had it physically, but this also made me want to play it again. The eShop going down, it has made me want to mess with the 3DS again in general. xD
I also got the group of Electroplankton DSiWare games, I miss those. We need Electroplankton 2, or HD port of the original on Switch somehow. lol
That said, I thought the online multiplayer for this game went down, maybe I'm mixing it up with something else. But maybe sometime this year we can do some online multiplayer? (if it's still up anyways) I rarely went online with my games, but this game I did play the multiplayer quite a bit here and there.
Right. So I should cite what I'd particularly welcome from a remake:
*Better controls, which goes without saying at this point, but in particular, a Gyro Controls option (should NOT be forced) and melee having its own button would be great
*Improved UI, such as showing Stamina and chargeup as well as Neutral Rapid ammo, and also unique buff display graphics on characters
*Make weapon modifiers more accessible for better weapon customization
*Weaken the weapon modifiers massively so that they don't result in min-maxing outweighing in-combat skills
*Reduce the stat gaps between difficulties in return, especially durability due to 9.0 enemies against non-min-maxed weapons being damage sponges that believe me make Metroid: Samus Returns enemies look like ants in comparison
We all want a remake, but it could help to catch the attention of whoever would handle it, likely Bandai-Namco at this point, to which I created this survey for a project that I'm handling for as much: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScz2du3w5xN5GkLppjyQ...
Note that I'll close the survey in 2 weeks' time from today, so it's recommended to get in responses while you can. Regardless, all things considered, I am sure that people can help me explain the Power system's appeal if they provide me answers.
Will probably go back to this game maybe soon or maybe later this year for sure..
Hopefully that is going well enough.

The survey is closed, now that I have prepared a big video here, waiting for a Premiere in a few weeks time:
The video covers all of the individual Powers in the game. Basically.
