Topic: How long until the 3ds dies?

@jump that part I read, but it talk about redownload not first time download and my second question was not about redownloads, actually non of my questions was about redownloads, because that was written in statement you even quoted. At this point for me it looked like you wanted to call someone idiot and I end up that someone. Sorry if it sounded rude, but for first minute after reading your post you looked rude to me.

So to be clear, and sorry to beat a dead horse on this, I can keep adding funds through my switch which is all linked to my 2ds and wii u. From there, I can continue to make purchases on those 2 systems through March of 2023. Just want to make sure I understand correctly.

I now hearing that DLCs content won't be playable after closure or I misunderstood that part from newest article and discussion in there?

@SViper You won't be able to purchase DLC.

@Ralizah you won't be able do any purchases, I hear like even owning DLCs will not or same as with bought games, then that new article 2 hours 45 minutes ago was to warning to people get DLCs for FE:R, but with a small bit of misunderstanding.

@SViper Anything you've downloaded should be good, and you'll be able to redownload stuff you've already bought, but you won't be able to buy them new after the shutdown. That's how I'm understanding it.

@SViper Oh, yes, I understand. That article did make it look like the DLC would just king of disappear for everyone so I see why that confused you.

Grabbed DKC returns as it's been on my WL forever. Also grabbed 1080 for wii u. Stockpiling time has begun.

@NintendoByNature Can't go wrong with Donkey Kong. Returns still holds up wonderfully.

@MsJubilee yep. Tropical freeze was amazing. But I never played returns. Couldn't decide between the 3ds version and the wii version on the U, but I love the portability factor on the 3ds.

@Anti-Matter I hope you also have a sizeable SD card; I believe the NA version of Yo-Kai Watch 3 is in the ballpark of 15,000 blocks. I'm seriously debating about getting it digital since physical prices have always been insane for it, but....

Not so much 3ds related, but I noticed nintendo.com removed the ability to view and purchase digital games for wii u 😩. One step closer.

@NintendoByNature I've noticed for some time that the interface on the sites has been dogs*** for anything that isn't the Switch. It's a nightmare to browse 3DS titles in a way that makes any logical sense.

@Maximumbeans yea, it's a little clunky right now imo.

There’s actually a sizable amount of good 3ds eshop games. Searching for them is an actual skill.

Any opinions on crimson shroud????? Similar to Grinisia for 3ds????????!

@NintendoByNature What's up with that! I just went to see how much Mario 64 on Wii U costed but I couldn't find the page!

The interface is really bad right now, I hope it gets better. It takes a couple seconds for everything to load, which is really annoying when you're scrolling through a page because you can't see anything.
