Love this demo. It really seems like it is going to be as enjoyable as the older ones. I didn't like the most recent ones, not to mention the other 3ds side game, so i was hesitant. However i am now ready to buy this, can't wait!

Well... I died. I think I shall try again a bit later. It'll probably take me a few times to get used to the controls, so then I can actually hit them, rather than just shooting like a crazy person and wasting all my ammo, then freaking out and randomly pressing everything when they get too close.
All that being said, I really enjoyed that frantic ten minutes and the game looks great... Can't wait to grab a copy of the game (and the Circle Pad Pro) when it comes out here on February 2nd.
Not my kind of game though it got me to jump once when they fell from the ceiling on top of me and the hard difficultly killed me on the first guy. I might try it again later but as things stand now I won't be getting it as I originally thought. looks good though but it's not likely for me, have fun everyone else.

I agree the ammo is very low and the zombies are pretty hard. Not my type of game, for sure, too shocking and scary

I replay Resident Evil Revelations demo with the gyro sensor and it plays even better. And I didn't lose the 3D sweet spot. I also notice that, except for the first encounter, the game is mostly relay on you to run away and they won't leave the room.
Is this game too scary? I've never played one in the series before, and I'm 12. (almost 13) I've always been the kid that was afraid of digital blood, until 5th grade. Is this game scary like bloody, or is it scary like enemies popping out or a combination of the too? It probably seems doubtful to you that I'm 12 since I actually use grammar and proper spelling and capitalization, but I just like to put thought into what I type instead of something like this: lol rofl im 12 an i think dis gam myt b 2 scary 4 me Edit: Let the flaming begin.
@MagicLink Haha, you remind me of myslef at twelve! I had the same opinion of careless writing, and took time to make my sentences understandable . . . Well, now, at the graduated age of 16 , I’ll give you my two cents: I’m not a big horror game fan, not because I’m scared or anything, but just because it’s not my genre preference. However, since I’m not used to horror games, this one actually seems quite scary, despite what other, horror-game-fans say. It’s not horror like gruesome imagery and blood everywhere (although monsters do leave very fake looking blood), but more a spooky and ominous atmosphere, tense music, and monsters popping out from places. It’s not a game I would buy, but I did enjoy the demo just because I’m so unaccustomed to horror games.
Played through it, died about 3/4 of the way through.... changed to control scheme 3 and killed it. Not being able to walk backwards while shooting is apparently a problem in Survival Horror gameses. ..... and I'm sure the second analogue stick will make aiming much easier than what I am going to call "tank mode"
Overall, fun game. I'm interested in getting it after this demo... but Kid Icarus! and other games to finish! GBA gameses!

now that's a demo, unlike that piece of crap on the mercenaries! the graphics remind me a lot of resident evil 4 with re5's crazy lighting and shaders applied to it, it looks amazing. the scanner thing feels a little out of place in a resident evil game but it's fun to use, i just wish you didn't need to use it to pick up most items.

I don't get why they needed to make a limit on how many times you can play the demo... I don't think many people would choose not to get the game just because they have the demo instead.
Oh well, I doubt I'm gonna play through the demo 30 times (unless I keep dying and can't reach the end) and the actual game comes out here in two weeks anyway.
