Topic: 3DS Resident Evil: Revelations

All I have to say is it feels freaking awesome to be back in a mansion! Graphics look wonderful and game play is spot on! I also love the limited ammo! Makes you really think do I really need to shot that zombie.

tried the demo... and I gotta say, I'm not sold.

The dialogue in the beginning was horrid and the writer should be shot. (well not really but you know what I mean)
Everything was so obvious when it was gonna show. No scary moments...

But then again this was a demo. But even so, I'll just hold out till the price drops to 20$

Downloaded and played the demo. Some really great visuals in this game. Controls worked great, the circle pad definitely isn't needed IMO, so I'll skip that. Love the new 'scanning alá Metroid' thing you get, really ads to the exploration. Seems like they actually got the formula right this time, it felt really RE4 like to me. Which is a good thing to me.

My only complaints are that I would like some more destructible environments. It's always fun to break stuff, there's plates placed all over the demo map, so it feels weird being unable to shoot them IMO. Also, when voice acting starts in-game there's no lip-sync. I'd like them to ad that.

Other than that, the demo was great. Ends exciting too. I'm definitely picking this up.

Tried the demo and it was just what I expected. Not a game for me. It just wasn't fun to play and fun is the thing why I play games. At least it was better than the Cooking Mama demo xD

Just tried the demo... i am still as awesomely good at this game (died like 5 times)
still... i might get it after all..... now i only need a demo for kid icarus... im still not sold on that game...

Funny how everybodys opinion is about as split as the reviews are. From what I've seen in this short demo its definitly resident evil through and through. Yes more difficult puzzles please. Yes I also jumped once in the game. Wasn't expecting that zombie.

you do realizd the game would look like **** on wii. the wii wouldn't be able to run some of the shader effect t and it would losepixel density when blown up

and when port begging at least ask for it on viable he systems and stop trying to cling on to some false hope that third parties care about wii. but then again this is capcom.

also wii is incapable of running Mt framework. so it can't be ported.

I think you've just ensured yet another WaveBoy post about Wii pointer controls... Barely minutes after the last one... Though to be fair, it usually happens at that sort of frequency anyway.

haven't played through the whole demo yet. but so far seems like a good mix of the classic and modern gamestyle. just wish it had death match mode alongside raid mode.

I check the demo options and said that I need to calibrate when using Circle Pad Pro... wait what?

Played through the demo (About 10 times) and I'm sold on the game. I didn't jump but it was unexpected when those things fell from above! Anybody else played the game on the 3rd depth setting with the 3D Slider all the way up? Now that is awesome! I've placed my preorder for January 27th!

Anybody had a go on Hell mode? That is just.... well, I was gonna say impossible, but I'll just say extremely difficult. Tried Hell mode 3 or 4 times and the furthest I got was to that room where you pick up the Scanner. It's literally impossible, but I'm sure I could do it if I had a bit more practice.

How do change the difficulty to hell mode, can't figure it out! Do you have to play through a certain amount of times

@paul6891 I think you just have to beat the demo on normal difficulty? Worked for me anyway.
