Switch Online's GBC Library Might Be Getting The Pokémon Trading Card Game Very Soon

Can’t wait for everyone to just complain about getting this instead of Red and Blue lol

I've been thinking this entire time they'll tease doing an NSO thing tomorrow, people will get really hyped in the moment, then they'll immediately get crushingly disappointed when it's just TCG.

I am looking forward to it personally granted, it's a fun game, but it does seem like bothering to put it up does just kind of feel specially catered to annoy people.

Honestly... with what we usually get from Pokemon Presents, I would be very happy with the TCG GBC game coming soon.

Now give us the two card pop exclusive cards!

Never played this actually. I mean I always saw the game everywhere in stores back in the day but never really bothered with it. I wouldn’t mind trying it out, but of course I would rather have red/blue/yellow to come.

PTCG is a great game. I'd say it has aged better than the first generation of main series games. That said, I've already beaten it many times. Now, if Japan gets the sequel, that would be something I'd play in a heartbeat.

I'll probably skip today's presentation. I can't remember the last time they showed something interesting enough that outweighed all the other stuff they spent time on. I can watch anything that interests me later.

We’ve known this was coming for a while. It was just a matter of when. Hopefully the main series games come someday as well.

@Late In general Pokemon Presents are usually a hard watch. Between their five minute, "We're so great, aren't we?" bits of filler at the start of each of them and how much time gets used on stuff like championships and the card game and mobile stuff and Unite you tend to be a lot better off skipping them and skimming through the important stuff in like two minutes afterward.

Maybe I'll play again and try not to use my blastoise strat.

I love this game, I'll gladly play it again if they add it to NSO.

I'd obviously love to get the main series games there as well, but I think those will come later. If they don't find another way to milk them, that is.

@Waluigi451 If it didn't happen when they added the broken pokemon stadium for 64 to nso, doubt it will now.

I loved this game back in the day and just recently started playing it again on my 3DS after learning about the glitch that let's you cheese every match. I don't recommend it for newcomers, but if you love crafting decks and don't want to grind for hours to make whatever decks you used to have in a previous cartridge or in real life, then I highly recommend doing it. I've almost recreated my old, favorite deck in just a matter of hours and can't wait to experiment with others.

Loved this game so much back in the day too. Excited for this.
I used to call it Pokemon Black due to the cart colour

I know it's nothing but a pipe dream, but if this were to ever lead to them actually localizing the sequel and slapping it on Switch Online I'd be giddy as a spin-dryed Spinda.

I actually have a lot of nostalgia for this game so I would be happy.

I got sick of waiting for this so this time I didn't resubscribe and emulated it, sue me. The drip feeding might work for boosting sales but they lost one with me. That and I don't play online all that much.

I just bought all of them on the 3DS store before shutdown recently. What a disappointment it'll be if they put it for free on the Switch online, unless it comes with multiplayer.

I really enjoyed the game when I was younger but not sure how much I'd enjoy it now. Definitely worth a shot.

I wish they'd localise the sequel that had the Team Rocket cards.
