Adding to the very recent potential E3 leak, which suggests that games such as Fortnite, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Overcooked 2, and many more besides will be shown for Switch at the event, a Korean game rating listing now lists the ever-popular Battle Royale sensation is indeed headed to the console.
The image below is from Korea's Game Classification Classification Decision site, which provides data for video game ratings and the reasons behind the classifications. As you can see, 'Fortnite Nintendo Switch' is now listed with Epic Games Korea noted as the applicant.
Of course, the rumours surrounding Fortnite on Switch have been flowing for some time now, but this is definitely the closest we've come to a confirmation. We'll have to wait and see to be absolutely certain, but we'd definitely be tempted to place a bet on the game seeing a full reveal at E3.

It'll be official in two weeks.
...huh? Really? You're not clowning me?
Well...okay then...guess the Switch is about to get a lot more users, because of the portability aspect.
Will it have in-person multiplayer though?
I feel sorry for that Crazy Justice game .......
If that's true then I feel bad for Crazy Justice devs.
I reckon Fortnite will drop once it's announced at E3. Poor crazy Justice Devs. I was excited to get that game with the lack of Fortnite but now well..:
@AlexOlney
You mean in a Fortnite
Fortnite is a great drop in drop out game. Its perfect for on the go gaming, linked to your mobiles wifi of course.
@DrLockdown of course it won't have local multiplayer, why i the world would epic add a stupid feature like that...
Yeah, I'm keen! I tried out Fortnite on the PS4 to see what all the fuss is about but saw I'd need to put a bit of time into the game to get any good at it. It being on Switch might allow for that.
If it doesn't have gyro aim, then I'd go with Crazy Justice.
@NintendoFan4Lyf Why can't you play on PS4 & xBox One?
A mega popular game with a Nintendo fan friendly aesthetic and design appearing on a popular Nintendo console while both are at the height of their relevance?
Ok - which one of us snuck into the dark lords lair, stole the forbidden book and read aloud the words of the spell that must never be cast?
Is this the mirror universe? Do I need to grow a goatee?
The only thing that bothers me is. My 12 year who plays a lot of Fortnite on Xbone is going to want to play my switch that I bought for him now 😫😫. Why......? My beloved....
@kurt3s "is going to want to play my switch that I bought for him now" looooool love that sentence, this is the exact reason my boy got his own Switch for xmas, isn't fatherhood the best!
Am hoping the Save the World mode is included in the Switch version. I started playing Fortnite when it was released early access on the PS4 and it really is a fantastic multiplayer PvE game, theres a lot of depth there. With all the hype surrounding the BR mode I think this fact is sadly getting overlooked...
@MasterJay Not sure how it would be considered 'dumb'. I mean the Switch supports up to 12 players. It could work.
@Slapsillium same here. I got mine at launch, and by xmas, both of my boys got one. I wasn’t going to give mine up.
I wish crazy justice had managed to get out a few months ago, I wanna see them succeed but fortnite is gonna steal there thunder
I do love playing this on my PS4, so having it on the Switch will be nice. But also the worst because breaks at work are only 20 minutes.
I'll get it because it's free.
I mean, come on! Who doesn't like free stuff?
If I like it, sweet! I didn't drop a dime.
If I don't, whatever! I don't lose money.
I hope it has motion controls and PC cross play. I feel motion controls are more accurate and faster than a mouse and now I wanna prove it.
@slapsillium Right on. Wife has no backup plan to all these great games we can get our hands on. 😂
@AlexOlney It's pretty much all but officially confirmed. From my understanding the Korean rating board only rates playable games (unlike the ESRB).
meh pass.
The big questions will be (1) cross-platform play? and (2) how will it be packaged for the Switch. It's free on Xbox, but Season 4 is $10. Based upon recent experience, I would expect a price tag of $20-$30 with certain pack-ins.
@DrLockdown you misunderstood me, I was being sarcastic, I wish fortnite had split screen, than my brothers friends wouldn't be bringing their entire consoles over all the, I just don't think epic will do it.
@bluedogrulez crossplay would be with xbox, pc, and mobile, it would be free, but the packaged version comes with save the world on console, and costs 40 dollars, the free game is the battle royal mode
@tekknik if real would most likely have crossplay with pc mobile and Xbox, no PlayStation, and honestly keyboard and mouse will always be better than a controller
@NintendoFan4Lyf I'm confused, what's your problem?
@NintendoFan4Lyf oh, ok
Yes I want it.
@NintendoFan4Lyf Sony and Nintendo are on pretty good terms too right? So there's a chance Switch could have cross play with every platform.
@Paddle1 notta, Sony doesn't want crossplay with either one, thats why it's not on minecraft
I haven't gotten into this game like so many others have, but having this available on Switch will only be a good thing for potential buyers of the Switch, and for people who want the game on the go.
@MasterJay Makes sense. Wish they would do it though.
@AlexOlney yasssss FALCO PAUWNCH!!
