The recently announced Pikachu variation of HORI's GameCube-like series of controllers will join its Mario and Luigi counterparts on 2nd March 2015 in the US.

The controller is priced at $27.99 on Amazon, but given the popularity of the other two controllers in the range, it's highly likely that stock will run out fast unless Nintendo gets more GameCube Controller Adapters out into the public's hands. We can assume it comes with the similarly styled Wii Remote sleeve in order to keep things looking as uniform as possible. The controllers have had excellent reviews and are officially licensed by Nintendo, so if you're looking for a GameCube-like controller for use with more than just Smash Bros., this could be for you.

There's currently no word as to whether this yellow number will be released in Europe, but given that both the Mario and Luigi variations are currently available it's probably safe to assume it will.
