Well, Renegade Kid co-founder Jools Watsham has taken to Twitter to reveal the game has now been submitted and that it is on target for a June release should all go well:
Mutant Mudds Deluxe has been submitted to NOA! We always try to make it as bug-free as possible, but it could come back. Fingers crossed.— Jools Watsham (@JoolsWatsham) May 9, 2013
A June release is looking good!— Jools Watsham (@JoolsWatsham) May 9, 2013
Mutant Mudds Deluxe is an expanded version of the 3DS edition and features all the main levels found in Mutant Mudds as well as the free "Granny" DLC. There are also 20 new ghost-themed stages added to the mix and there will be checkpoints thrown in for good measure to make life a little bit easier. Of course, the whole thing will be in HD.
With it being submitted to Nintendo of America it is likely that it will be released there first and will then cross the pond to Europe. Mutant Mudds took five months to make the trip over - hopefully Europeans won't have to wait that long.
Watsham said he'd have more news on the European submission soon.
