Rooms: The Main Building

Designed for Nintendo: Point and Click Controls, Rooms: The Main Building features ideal gameplay for the Wii Remote™ and the Nintendo DS™ stylus. In each room, players must use intellect, strategy and various objects to their full advantage. To escape, rooms can be moved around and matched up with subsequent rooms. The game features a guide named Mr. Book that gives tips on how to move rooms and use various tricks during the adventure. Players are also rewarded with a bonus if the background is placed correctly like in a jigsaw puzzle. With more than 100 rooms to go through and a level editor to create more, this charmed adventure can continue for ages to come.

Welcome to Rooms: The Main Building

Immerse yourself in a world unlike any other. Rooms: The Main Building is a breakthrough gaming experience coming to Nintendo Wii™ and Nintendo DS™ that cleverly blends brain-teasing adventure elements with a wholly unique world to create a journey unlike any other.

An Invitation from a Fantastical World

Your adventure begins when an invitation abruptly arrives at your doorstep and diverts you to an entrance of a world filled with mystic beauty. Getting there is the easy part, coming home will be the adventure.

In this new world, you’ll need to reach the exit of each of the 100+ rooms by sliding pieces of the rooms along a 2-D plane, forcing you to use all of your ingenuity to escape. Your character can move from room to room as long as there’s a path that isn’t blocked by a wall or obstacle. As you continue the adventure, you’ll encounter several tools that will introduce new elements. Use teleporters, wardrobes, hydrants, and other objects to navigate your way through. Blending the simple gameplay elements of classic brain-teasers with a mystical adventure and an art style all its own, Rooms: The Main Building delivers a mystery filled adventure that will leave you stunned.

Why not just make two completely different games using a similar engine?
Not for me anyhow, I prefer my P&C games on PC.

Is it sad that whenever I read "Point and Click", I automatically want the game? I really hope they do a nice job on the Level Creator.

Its your classic point and click puzzler by the sounds of it in that you have to use objects you find to solve the puzzle or progress to the next stage. Bit like Broken Sword perhaps? Maybe you have to perform actions/use the objects you find in particular sequences all of which link to the final solution (s). Y'know, and all that like....
