Review Animal Crossing Calculator (DSiWare)
The Animal Crossing theme adds charm to this basic application - but is it ultimately enough to justify the cost?
With the popularity of the applications available for Apple's iPhone, it comes as no real surprise to see Nintendo releasing apps for their DSi system. Animal Crossing Calculator takes the standard calculator function and builds an...

Anniversary The Animal Crossing Series Is Now 20 Years Old
And we're still paying off our loans...
While Animal Crossing still feels like a relatively new Nintendo franchise, today actually marks its 20th anniversary. Yes, the series started out in Japan on 14th April 2001 as a Nintendo 64 title. While Dōbutsu no Mori (otherwise known as Animal Forest) was never released in its original form here in the...
Nintendo Download Final Fantasy, Even More Art, and Animal Crossing Apps (EU)
No love for the Virtual Console this week. Boooooooo!
Things were looking good for a short while - The VC seemed to be getting new games every week as of a month or so ago. But two weeks ago, and now again this week, there's not a single new VC game in sight - Please don't tell us Nintendo of Europe is going back to alternating VC and WiiWare weeks!...
Nintendo Download Clocks, Calculators, Penguins and Towers (US)
If you want to pay for something the DSi already has it's your lucky day!
As in the last few weeks there's two new games available on DSiWare today - But "games" isn't really the right word for them this time. The DSi already has a clock on its menu - The Animal Crossing Clock is really just a slightly more interesting variation. It's...

Hahaha, this is ridiculous. I pity you North Americans for this crappy DSi update.
I'm kinda surprised that guy could spend 2 minutes putting in random numbers. Goes a long way of showing what people can do when they're bored, I guess.
"Listen to the Animalese pronunciation of numbers when you press them"
...that's Japanese.
I suppose it's handy since Calculators can cost 1.00 or 2.00 but still... 100 Points would seem more reasonable....
100 points? No FREE would seem more reasonable.
This stuff is FREE on cell phones! COME ON!
Where is homebrew..... Nintendo seems to be promoting homebrew apps themselves more then any other group with this crap.
I feel bad for the guy in the video, he's probably fighting back tears.
OK, if Nintendo releases the Mario one, i might get it. But THIS is kind of Stupid.
I know I'm so pissed off at this, I mean a cheap useful app that I would use everyday! Why Nintendo? Why? I hate you for coming out with stuff I want! I HATE YOU! Now my DSi can do more things, this is terrible. I know I have to pay to get something somebody programmed to make money with and is offering a good deal, man this is awful.
In fact just to prove my point, I bought this and will also buy the Mario edition.
Evil me, spending my money as I see fit.
Why is it unfair that other games get pushed back, heck most the ones you want aren't even done with localization.
Life's not fair, get used to it.
I already have a calculator at home and on my mobile phone. It seems Nintendo wants to create low quality shovelware, rather then create decent games nowadays, because people are more likely to buy this tripe then something that is great fun.
@metakirbyknight
HAHA! You always crack me up! You're one of the most outgoing, hilarious members of nl!
But seriously, this is yet another title I'm adding to my NintendoWare library. (holds up tomato-blocking shield)
@NintendoPurist
Really, ya think so? I love apps like this, all it means for me is lugging around less stuff. Also, I'm going to get the clock to further prove my point.
If you got this app you should be the pikachu on the left above me getting punched in the face. Why didn't Nintendo give a calculator free, they had 2 oppourtunities, Dsi and Dsi xl. And still no calc
Yes it's cool but I'm great at math I need no calculators. Give me a question.
I downloaded this on my 3ds which cost me $2
