might have ruined my whole weekend. Wow, I have to say, I'm really impressed. I don't know what made me wait so long before getting it. Maybe its weird name - which does nothing for me, or the fact that it looked a bit too cluttered and confusing from the screenshots, or maybe it just got lost in the abundance of awesomeness in the WiiWare catalog. Ok, forget that last one.

Anyway, I played it for a half hour and can already appreciate the top-shelf quality production of this game. I wish I'd downloaded it earlier, and wonder what other gems I'm missing. Also, I'm amazed at how this title isn't in the top 20. I guess I'm not the only one who was missing out.

I bought it on release and greatly prefer to LostWinds. It's one of the best puzzle games I've played. I haven't finished it, though. Gets really hard later on!

So I've read, Clint. I'm actually looking forward to that. It's good that the first several levels serve more as a tutorial than an actual challenge though. Makes for a really engaging learning curve.

How far in the game have you gotten?

I've seen so many posts on how maddeningly challenging this game can be. I'm gonna vow to not read any spoilers or solutions, but I read in a post here that if you go to the game's home page, there are some "hints" that help without giving too much away. I'll probably be visiting those before too long.

I got it a week after release, it took me some time but I've finished all normal levels in the game (the ending is disturbing ), and I have just 5 more hard levels to go, every level is pure ingenuous awesomeness and they can get pretty hard, still, you can't go wrong with this game; also, the official tips are good, it's a shame they don't give some for the hard levels .

Yay, another download for Toki Tori! I'm glad that you are enjoying this game. I also held off on downloading this great game for way too long. This game is awesome and it deserves to be in everyone's WiiWare library!

That little chick is so darn cute. I loved this game, and wish there were more levels. I would happily play it for hours.

I got stuck in one of the underwater levels (it is the world after the sewers, I think), and I must have spent hours on it before giving up. It's a testament to the game's quality that no matter how frustrating one level could get I would keep trying until my brain exploded. The day I bought it I remember checking the Wii message board afterwards to see that I had played for over four hours straight! Never happened with me and a puzzle game before.

I really should go back to it soon. I only think I've played a few of the hard levels, so there's still much to be done.

I just can't do the hard levels, but I did all the rest of them myself

I'll also be getting this soon. Wish I didn't have such a game backlog

I purchased Toki Tori when it released too and it's still in my top 5 WiiWare list. I completed all the normal levels and all the hard on the first set but never bothered with the rest. Maybe I'll get around to finishing them all someday but I still have loads of games I've downloaded that I've yet to complete.

Its a shame the game has been so sadly overlooked but with quality titles like SPoGs there's no wonder

I haven't played Toki Tori in ages but I still have very warm feelings when I think about it. It's one of my greatest gaming moments ever. Oh, how much I'd like to see a sequel for it...

I still have one level to beat. It's the final Hard level but I just find it too complex and hard for me to even try it anymore. Well, maybe one day....

I also bought it upon release; really only because it was one of only three or four games at launch and I was starved for disc releases. I did enjoy it, though it's really not my kind of puzzler because it's a logic game rather than an arcade title.

Whenever I got stuck and figured out the solution there was an immense feeling of satisfaction. I think the fact that you can only choose to skip one or two levels at any given time is the main thing that held me back. I think there's possibly a sewer level I haven't finished and I ended up getting stuck on one of the underwater levels before throwing it in.

It's still a pretty decent game, but honestly if it game out today I probably wouldn't get it, so it definitely benefited from being a launch title in my case.
