Earthbound is a good game, but it's not the pinnacle of gaming. Good to hear a majority of players will now be able to see that - hopefully it will dial down the fanboyism.

Honestly though, looking forward to playing it.

I don't imagine it will all that much. Have you seen the prices of retro video (NES & SNES at least) games today??? All they are doing is going up. The Final Fantasy games and Chrono Trigger took a hit in price since they were released on the VC but they are climbing back up again.

I'll start a review site just to post my real opinion about it (and see how upset the fanboys get), and I'm pretty tough on VC games and hold them to modern standard unlike a lot of reviewers (Seriously, OoT did not deserve a 10. Maybe a 8 at most).

My SD Card with the game on it is just as physical as your cartridge with the game on it.
I love Nintendo, that's why I criticize them so harshly.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to it too.
But I'll probably subconsciously trick myself into believing its good regardless of my own opinion because of all the praise it gets. I don't know how it'll happen, but somehow I feel like it will.

Exactly. Ocarina of Time is another prime example of nostalgia blinding people. It wasn't even close to being one of the best Zelda games in all honesty.
